Hello,

What is the error that your running into with these sample item numbers?
Are you being told you cannot relist them since they were imported?

I noticed they appear to be setup on the 'imported listing' template, but upon checking the previous item at eBay that is the template they were launched with.

Chris

It imports everything into the description area, I have to delete it all or it will not work right. It puts in my custom listing text in twice. Then I have to find & attach all my pictures again. (Sometimes I have to go through several pages for that) I should not have to deal with this. The only reason I have not left Vendio is because of the 22,000+ items in my post sale history. t is getting to the point where it is easier to just write a new ad. Then I no longer need Vendio. I want this fixed this time & not ignored like my past request

When relisting items today I just ran across one from August 24th that was always listed through Vendio yet shows "imported". I get double templates if I try to relist.

Hello Neglus,

Usually when this happens with just one item, it is because the listing errored with an "ambiguous launch" (or similar) error. Which means that the listing could have been successful, but not showed successful in Vendio. If the listing was then imported back into Vendio, you would get this result. You should be able to work around the problem by selecting the "blank template", or by copying the actual description, removing the HTML code from the listing description box, and then pasting just the actual description back into the description box.

Has this happened with many of your listings, or just the one?

Regards,
Nathan

Hello,

When reporting issues, new or old, if you could include a sample item number that would help with troubleshooting it further.

Hello,

It turns out an import was done in your account that caused this to show up again recently.

If you aren't triggering this, double check with any co workers or anyone else that has access to your account to be sure they do not trigger an import in the future.
It has however been some time since an import was triggered within your account (a little over a year since the last request was done).

The engineers dug into the account log records and pulled all of the recent import requests done from directly in the account:

2007-03-05 11:44:32
2007-04-26 09:30:30
2007-08-06 11:49:33
2007-08-13 10:43:00
2007-08-15 22:31:16
2007-10-10 14:01:03
And the most recent:
2008-11-07 11:30:15

These auctions were never deleted. So I do not understand why there were mported. I looked at the pictures that were imported on 11-07. It looks like several were imported. I never deleted any of those.

Here are 2 more item numbers for you. 290268259329, 220296301661. There were not deleted. They still have the tracking numbers in post sale & I do not think that they would be there is it was deleted. I have had this problem for a few years now. It is just getting old.

Hello,

An import was done in your account on 2008-11-07 11:30:15, and unfortunately any items that would have been in the archives would have been brought back into the account as imported listings. (and would have imported copies of the images.)

The two you list above, these were never intended to be sent to the archives?

Chris

I think you are missing my point. I never archive (delete) any auctions that end with a bid. I have not done that in 7 years. There is no reason there should be imported auctions that closed with a bid. Do you even understand what I am trying to say. I NEVER DELETE ANYTHINGG I KEEP IT FOR FUTURE USE. BUT YOU GUYS ARE MAKING IT REAL HARD.

Thank you for answering the question.

We have passed these details over to the engineers for further review, and will post back when more information is available.

Unfortunately since this is the only case we have like this, we do need some questions to be answered to help in the troubleshooting process. We'll try to avoid any further unless absolutely required.

Here is an example of what the problem is. I relisted Item number: 220291665104, it became Item number: 290274867377. It did not load any pictures other than the thumbnail. It did not get shipping carrier correct or the return policy. It take allot of time to do that when I have to deal with an imported auction. I do not always remember to check if it is imported when relisting an item. I am sorry for being upset but I have received the canned response from Vendio in the past & it was never addressed. Please ask as many questions as needed. I just feel I address the last questions earlier in this thread. (About they should never had been imported to begin with since I do not archive a successful auction)

Hello,

I did search the above details but didn't come across the statement saying specifically that you never archive an item without bids, only that in two specific cases "these were not deleted."

We unfortunately cannot then assume that you never delete any listings that have bids, until you specifically said so after we asked to clarify.

Thank you again for confirming that. We understand 100% why this is an issue for you.
When more information about this issue is available we will post back to this thread, or if you prefer we can email you with the details. No further examples should be needed.

Chris

Sorry by saying they never should be imported I meant they were never deleted. I do not think I even clicked on "import listings" on 11/7 but that might have happened by error. But I thought that was a 2 step process. I have noticed a few times in the past when an active auction did not show up in Vendio but that has been awhile. I think that is why I clicked import last year, also for second chance offers as well.

Hello,
290160358545 is from September of 2007, and does show up as an imported listing. I cannot look that far back unfortunately, but we'll pass it along to the engineers with the more recent cases to see if that helps diagnose why that more recent batch appeared that way.
