I was wondering if I could get an explanation on some of the shipping options available. There is no explanation I can find anywhere on their use.
"Calculate shipping on Dutch wins as 1 item regardless of quantity."
How does this work? If I charge $3.00 for shipping, does it only charge $3.00 no matter whether they bid on and win 1 item or 5 items. Thus $3.00 shipping for their whole order no matter what. Do I understand this correctly Or does it do something different.
USPS Priority (Calculated) Shipping Options:
"The Add markup feature" How does this work?
Does this add an extra amount to the calculated shipping total? If total is $6.00 and I add 30% markup does it add $1.80 for a total shipping of $7.80? I guess this is a way to add an extra handling fee if correct.
Can calculated shipping and discounted shipping be used together? Will it really screw up the shipping total?
I just want to completely understand how to use all of this stuff.
You really need to have better help files on how to use some of these extra services and options that are offered, because there is no explanation anywhere.
Maybe you should create a downloadable users manual or have one online that is more comprehensive and maybe there will be less questions from everyone.

Hello,
You are exactly correct, on both examples.
You can use the calculated shipping along with the discounts. It will calculate the shipping according to your settings (in the 'When combining orders, calculate shipping based on:' section), then apply whatever discounts you have setup.
