How do I activate ebay's option to protect the identities of my bidders by hiding their ebay ids when they bid? It's not a private auction, just a bidder's identities protected auction.

Hello,
If you select "private" in the Features section of Create Listing, this wil bring up the 'bidders identities protected' message when you have bidders on your auctions. Let me know if you have any more questions about this.

Hello,
Private auction means that your bidders identities are protected. It doesn't make the whole auction private -- people can still see it, and find it in searches, but if they bid their IDs won't show.
I hope this is more clear, let me know if you have any more questions.

Thank you, Sonya! That's exactly what I need - and I launched a test auction to verify that it did what I needed. Bidders' identities show up as being protected AND it shows up in a search on title.
Happy Valentine's Day!
