For 2 days I've been trying to get 2 WBN's sent but they are being returned as "Host Unknown" or "User Unknown". I have even done the copy and paste on my private email address and I get the same thing. PLEASE fix this!

Hi badgeman,

Is there any commonality with the email addresses that are bouncing? Are they all going to the same email provider (ie. yahoo, AOL, etc.)?

Thanks,

Diana

no. I've included the bouncers.

there is no such domain any longer of "@home.com" @home went out of business and the accts were transfered to various different other domains such as attbi.com or comcast.com

The aol user might have changed their info, too.

I think probably what happened to both of these is that they have not updated their emails at eBay (which is a violation in itself). They have probably forgotten.
You might want to try calling them instead.

I received an email from one of my customers stating the WBN link gave him a "Browser Alert". This is what he said:

Hi Badgeman, the link you provided kept giving me a "Browser alert" and
the
attempt to locate failed several times.

Please fix this, this is getting old!

Hello badgeman,

We understand your frustration, but please note that these issues are most likely occurring because of issues on your customer's end. If the email address they have stored at eBay is outdated, or if there are mailserver issues on their end, there is nothing that we can do on our side to rectify the problem. As for the browser alert, there is a chance that perhaps this customer tried to access the system during our scheduled maintenance, or perhaps he was experiencing some connection issues on his end at the time. In cases like these, it is best to use a workaround.

Thanks,

Diana
