Hi. This may be a unique technical glitch of mine, not really community interest, but I still need help --my thread has died out without any new info. for several days. After the initial bad news from Christopher that it couldn't be remedied at that time and would be pursued by engineering, I posted a couple more pieces of additional info that might or might not have been useful to engineering. Did those get seen and forwarded on if potentially helpful?

By checking "copy my lisitng in inventory" as I submitted a relist today, the listing appeared alphabetically in my inventory by title, but not registering the quantity at auction or the image (done online as a successful scheduled relist and still pending, so no item # yet) The title is "Great 40s daydress! p2tp". Since the inventory has no pic that loaded in for that one pending, I assume the pic will not appear in the AW gallery when the auction is launched either--as with the 3 of 4 of my others where it did not make it into the inventory thumbnails or the AW Store Gallery.

My one auction where the pic did make it into both the inventory and the AW gallery is still running for another day for access and comparison by engineering if they need it--but then it will be gone and probably will not reload working correctly a second time. I really need to know the status of where this is, because I will soon have all my listings without thumbnails in my AW Store Auction Gallery, and if it still cannot be fixed that means every listing will be going out in the future will be not only wrong, but without any remedy available either.

Can you please update me where engineereing is on the status of this problem? The question may just end up being how to get images from embedded layout listings into the Gallery, and how to add them if they do not appear in the previews of the inventory list or in the gallery after launch.
Should I start scoping out the Auctiva free galleries so I can get pics, or should I wait longer for AW? Thanks again.

Anyone out there use both embedded layouts for auction listings and a storefront? Please post any suggestions you have if you are able to make it work for your site. Thanks.

Hello,

Just as an update to this issue, engineering is still checking into ways of making this work in the future, but for now, the only way we support importing an image into the gallery for your AuctionWatch storefront, is by attaching at least one image through the image hosting tool. (Via our image hosting system)

That one image will be the one we end up using as the gallery image in your storefront.

Thanks Christopher.
Using my embedded layout is really important to me, but I wouldn't mind attaching a duplicate image if it loaded into the bottom (like with the blank templates) if that resulted in it getting into the gallery.
It is my understanding so far that if more than one image is submitted, only the ones with embedded html to pull them will show and the rest are not defaulted to anywhere else on the page. Also, that the attach image feature cannot be used at all with embedded layouts, even to attach something which defaults somewhere else. Im I right about both of those?--because I would be happy to attach another image if the gallery would pull it.
Thanks.
