I posted this a hour ago:

I do not want the data that has been added to my invoice. How can I edit it? I do not use the URL that is printing currently.

I feel strongly about this and will seek alternatives to AW service if I cannot edit the content.

Visit my store at: http://shop.auctionwatch.com/davebraun I do not use this as my address and do not wish it printed.

Over the past hour I have been forced to use a number of work arounds to delete the unwanted text from my invoice. I am not happy about this but at this point my main concern is the lack of support on this site. I have heard nothing with regard to this problem. Instead of being able to focus on managing my auctions once again I am forced to waste my time dealing with AuctionWatches "improvements".

If you come up with any ways around this other than downloading the form, changing it and then printing it (time consuming), please let us know. What a pain. I have the same problem as you. Who knew years ago that the name we joined AW as would stick with us forever!

Exactly. I received an email from AW indicating that this is an interim format and the invoice format will/may be changing again. Currently I'm having to cut and paste as I will not send an invoice out that has the store.auctionwatch URL on it. If you are aware of any better work around I'd appreciate a heads up.

Hello,

We will most likely be removing the URL from the invoices temporarily while we work on a better solution for this highly requested feature.

Thank you for your feedback.

Diana

Simply allow us a field to put whatever we wish a URL, our return policy, a thank you or whatever. Just a line would be sufficient. There is no way that I will send out an invoice with the current format. It is absurd to adopt the one size fits all approach.

Hello,

We have removed the URL from the invoice temporarily while we work to provide a better solution. Allowing for a blank field or memo field will require a much larger and time-consuming project.

Thanks,

Diana

Thank you. I for one prefer no URL to a URL with my personal name rather than my .com. At the time I signed up the username was not an issue as it was not used, however with the advent of storefronts it began showing up in various fields. I have a habit of often using expletives as either passwords or usernames fortunately I did not in this instance.

As a long time user of AW the new improvements over the last several months have been appreciated, how about optioning the url to an on or off option for storeowners. I dont mind it being shown on the invoice , it was just the location it was positioned , looked unprofessional.

Keep the upgrades comming

Sincerely,
Robert

For those of us who joined AW prior to the storefront advent, we are unable to change our user names...why? I do not know. Anyway, our stores show up as : http://shop.auctionwatch.com/username
THIS is not the name of my store, the name that appears on clients credit card bills, etc. And, I, for one, do not want AW on my invoice. My husband's firm does the accounting for about 100 small businesses, including their invoicing...and he does not put his company's name on their invoices. Tacky. However, I agree that many improvements made are for the better. But then, that is why we are paying now, when we did not for so long.

As a long time AW user, I am thrilled that AW is finally making changes to the invoice. While they may not be the final or best changes, they are changes none the less. I have been trying for years to allow users to print SKU's. Imagine trying to find "Levi's Used Jacket" in the warehouse, when you have 500 of them. I appreciate AW taking the time to listen to users and for putting in the time and effort to make things better. I also appreciate you listening to users who are not happy with the enhancements. Even though some members are not happy with the current invoice, I am not offended by any of it. Certainly, the best option would be to spend the time and make any of the new enhancements optional by the user. Thanks

Good idea immages! AW will soon realize that professional companies don't put their logos on invoices they help to generate (ie., accounting firms like Deloitte Touche, or professional billing firms like PMSI). Until then, I will have to download, delete/edit and then print. Having all of this optional would be GREAT!

If AW really wanted to help the sellers why are they not working on making the sellers merchandise more visible in the search engines; such as GOOGLE.COM or others. When a person puts in a search for an item, I have never found any to be in AW. If the engineers really want to help the sellers make this possible. Currently the products are only found in the Ebay search.
If the engineers are wanting something to do rather than creating more work for the sellers, please ask them to make us, THE SELLERS more visible rather than AW.
Kind Regards,
Robert
