Hi Greengate,

I have checked the auction and it shows one image in the listing. You might want to try clearing your cache if you still cannot view the image. If there were more that are not showing up, please let me know.

Regards,

Sonya

Okay, this is day two that the photo is not available. Yes I cleared the cache before I contacted you. All the other auctions appear to be okay so why is it not showing up for me and is showing up for you?

I just checked the auction again via the Ebay search engine and still no photo. Then I had someone else check it on a different computer and still no photo.

Please check again and tell me why this photo is not showing up. Thank you.

Hello,

What ISPs are you and your friend on? It is a photo of a dog that I am seeing -- click on this and let me know if you see the photo.

Hello,

One other question - are you using any ad-blocking software on your system? This type of software can block images if requested from a different domain than the website you are viewing. If you can see the image through the link that Sonya provided, this might be the case (although I do not know why it would only affect this image.)

Thanks,

Diana

Yes I have pop up blocking, however it is only this one auction that seems to be at issue although I haven't checked all of them as yet.

The Pop Up blocking is Proxyconn and it has never been a problem in the past with viewing auctions. The other computer that was used to check the auction is on a business server.

I have checked Sonya's link and that auction is showing up. Most of the auctions will be closing in the next day or two so I will try to check the rest asap.

I see another seller is having a problem also. When we create new auctions will the URL change become automatic?

Hi Greengate,

The auction you provded me (#3510424797) does not have an image on it -- it has the image unavailable gif, meaning the image is not in your account at this time. If you upload the image back to your account they should be able to view it.

The other person having a problem -- is it that they can't see the image (like the case of the puppy) or they get the image unavailable gif?

New auctions will contain the reference to vendio for images.

Regards,

Sonya

I just checked in the image hosting and the photo is there. It is not scheduled for deletion and the photo was in the auction when I listed it via AW and it posted to ebay where it was also showing until three days ago.

Hello greengate,

The image attached to auction number 3510424797 is called "ChineseCrested.jpg" whereas the image on our servers is called "ChineseChrested.jpg". If you rename the image to "ChineseCrested.jpg" and reupload it, it will automatically reappear in your auction.

Thanks,

Diana

Wow, Thanks for the help. Such a simple solution for a spelling error. I will make sure the title, URL in the listings match the uploaded photo in the future.

No problem - glad we could help!

If you ever delete and reupload an image that is attached to an auction, the filenames do have to match exactly (case-sensitive, including the file extension.)

That is generally the first thing to check if the image exists in your account but is not being displayed in your auctions.

Thanks,

Diana
