I have spent the better part of yesterday and today restoring pictures on my "Me" page and auction pages.
Now I see the Ebay store picture is gone also.
This is very frustrating.
I shouldn't have to waste time on a program that is supposed to be making my auction listing easier.
I am completely clueless on how to get the Ebay store gif back.
If you are going to make changes you should be able to do so without wiping things out.
If you are going to wipe things out, how about an email?

Hi Atticus14,

You are not using the right URL in your ME page on eBay -- the preview URL does not reset the image deletion flag so after 90 days, it will delete itself from image hosting. This is the URL you should be using instead:

http://imagehost.vendio.com/bin/imageserver.x/00000000/atticus14/yourimagefilename.jpg

Make sure you change it in your ME page. The end of that URL can be altered for the gif that goes in your eBay store.

Regards,

Sonya

Sonya, thank you.

Now can you tell me why the ebay store logo has disappeared?

Thanks again,

Hello,

Were you using the preview URL for the gif that goes in your eBay Store? If so, it most likely expired after 90 days and deleted itself from the system. You will need to upload it again to image hosting, and use the URL I gave you to put it back in your eBay Store.

Regards,

Sonya

Sonya, no actually it was just added by ebay automatically when I listed an auction. I don't care if it's there or not, I just hate the big white blank square stating "this image is unavailable". This is not a logo I had uploaded like my gifs and put in myself

Hello,

I found the logo -- it actually is attached with the preview URL. You will need to change the HTML that you have at the bottom of your descriptions to either remove the line that contains the image link, or you will need to upload that image again and change the URL.

Regards,

Sonya
