I am interested in opening a store. I see there are three different monthly fee plans. I assume this means I can list as many items as I like for as long as I want them on there, and still just pay the monthly fee for whatever plan I choose.
I was also wondering how others feel about the success of using a store.
Thanks.

Hello,

Yes, that is correct -- items can remain in your store for as long as you want them there, or until someone purchases an item. We have a free two week trial for new store users that you can take advantage of.

I have tried several stores (including Ebay). This is been my best experience. Support is very good. There are a few bugs which we bug them about but all in all I am very happy with it.

Thanks for your help. Hopefully in the near future, I will get a store going.

Vendio stores are fine except for a serious image problem. Check out this for details:
http://www.vendio.com/mesg/read.html?num=48&thread=3541
Images are bunched up on the left side if they are not configured exactly. I still can't get it right.
Also, running an eBay Store and a Vendio store results in double postings of your items and no thumb images appear on the duplicated store items for the eBay Store.
You can't opt-out of Vendio placing your eBay Store items in your Vendio store too.

Personally, I choose to have the picture on the left and verbage just to the right of the picture because my customers say they want to see the picture of the ad and source of ad as quickly as possible. It works for me and since I have over 5000 unique items, an Ebay store would be cost prohibitive.

Beth, you have nice stuff! Nice ephemera. Congrats on the nice feedback rating, too.
Took a look at your Vendio store items and I see what you mean about the text/image placement. If you used anything but basic text (embellish with some nice HTML) you'd probably face the same dilemma as I do with the image placement. I think there should be a note below the images to "click on image for larger view" because some folks don't know they can.
I have used my eBay ME page to tout my Vendio store as much as possible without shoving it down the viewer's throat.
As far as the economic usefulness of an eBay Store: If I have an item that can't sell in 6 months (total cost of $0.36) then something is seriously wrong with my item/cost/description or whatever. So, the cost to operate the eBay Store SHOULD be irrelevant in the long run.
