I've tried twice today to upload images and would like to know if anyone else is experiencing difficulties? I keep getting an error message that says to try again later, but I have to do it NOW. Any help?

If you are having trouble uploading your images, please check the following:
1. Make sure your images are not too large in kilobytes - occasionally, images that are over 50 kb in size will cause your connection to time out.
2. Upload only one image at a time.
3. Close all unnecessary open applications, and disable any resident programs on your computer (virus-checkers, PIMs) as these use system resources and may interfere with image uploading.
4. Try an alternate browser such as Internet Explorer and/or Netscape.
5. If you are using a proxy server to enter the internet, check the proxy settings in your browser to make sure they are valid.
Please let us know if these solutions are not successful in solving the problem, and let us know how much RAM memory your system has, and which browser and operating system you are using.

Thank you for responding so promptly. I am using a dial-up connection with Internet Explorer as my browser, but as to determining other technical aspects about my computer, I'm not able. That's why I use an Image Hosting service! All I know is that yesterday I was able to upload 21 images without any problems, and I was listening to a CD at the same time. Today, I have been able to upload one image. I will check with my dial-up server to see if they are experiencing any difficulty. However, I do have to say that ever since Vendio's name began appearing instead of AuctionWatch, I've been having frequent troubles with your site. Listing auctions takes longer than ever before. It's sluggish in general, except for your prompt and kind answer to my last query.

Hi William,
If you were able to do it yesterday and now you are having trouble, you might want to try reconnecting to the internet. You could possibly have a slow connection to your ISP right now. Clearing your cache might also help with the sluggishness as well. To clear your cache in Internet Explorer, look under "Tools" in the top menu bar. Open "Internet Options", and the option to clear the cache will appear under "Temporary Internet Files" in the "General" menu. It is always a good idea to clear the History, as well.
Please try these things first. If the problems with uploading continue, let me know.
