Hi, just checked my new auction listings from last night. Namely ebay #s 3233495172-3233498031-3233501320-3233501377-3233501697. All have the following box in the gallery spot instead of the image I wanted there. The box reads as follows. "Please see my detailed item description before bidding". If I did this it was an accident and can it be corrected? Especially since I don't need to pay $.25 per gallery picture to have that silly box there in the pictures place. Can you correct it if I give you the correct numbers for the gallery pictures or at least tell me how to do it myself. I tried by revising and putting in the picture description just as it shows in your images list, but it wouldn't take it and I did put .jpg at the end. Please advise ASAP as if there are bids I won't tbe able to revise. thanks, Steve

Hello cyberageart,

You may correct your gallery images here:

http://cgi3.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?DisplayGalleryImagePage

Note that whatever you select as the default for the iPIX image at the top of your auctions will override the Gallery image you select in your auctions - unless you use the 'leave blank' option.

Thanks,

Diana

Diana, the URL that you supplied is not working. It gives me a page to revise my auction. When I do that all that comes up is a box that offers me a choice of picture 1. It doesn't give me a place to put in the picture I want. I also tried it from the "My ebay page" and I can't make the change there either. I tried putting in the name exactly as it shows in your image listing dropdown box and that doesn't work either. please advise. thanks, Steve

Good morning cyberageart,

When you go to the link provided it doesn't provide you with a box to enter the item number of the auctions which you would like to change the Gallery Image for? What about if you go to My eBay -> Selling Tab -> get the item number for which you would like to revise -> Scroll down click on Revise my item -> Enter the item number and then click revise item -> Scroll down to Pictures Details click on edit pictures -> Scroll down to the gallery picture section and then edit the picture which you would like to have as your gallery picture.

Please let us know if we can further assist you.
Tara

Hi Tara, have already done all that. When I enter the picture URL as shown in your dropdown image box in the gallery box on the ebay revise page it just keeps kicking me back to the top of the page. For instance on auction number 3233495172 I want to put my first picture namely pineapplecandelabra1.jpg in the gallery box. It should work unless the picture URL I am using is incorrect. I don't know of any other URL to use. What am I doing wrong? Steve

Hi, ok I printed it out and put it in exactly as you said. I got a little further this time. Except the gallery box now shows a small box with an x in it. No picture. Further than I got last time but no cigar. How in the world are we supposed to know all that information to put into a URL.And why is it not working now. I'll try it on a different auction and see. there were a total of five that it happened to. Steve

Tara, same thing, tried it on a different auction. Followed your URL all the way through until the / mark after cyberageart. Then put in the other pic for that auction as listed in your dropdown box. Same thing a small box with an x in it in the gallery section. Steve

Hello,

I apologize - the URL you should be using is:

http://imagehost.vendio.com/bin/imageserver.x/00000000/cyberageart/pineapplecandelabra1.jpg

The URL above is correct, the one with 'viewimage.x' points to the enlarged image page rather than the image itself.

I am sorry for the confusion. Please try this URL and see if that does the trick.

Thanks,

Diana
