Hi Guys, silly question, since I started with my new computer and windows XP I can't figure out how to delete the images from the browse box once I have loaded them to AW. When I had Windows98 I used to click on Kodak Pictures and the date - right click select and delete. Now I have the original starting date when I started using XP as my entry point and when I click on that it doesn't give me any place to right click and delete. I have tried Crive, my computer, my pictures, desktop, nothing seems to work. I am now loaded with lots of numbers and names in the browse box that I can't get rid of and it's getting kind of cumbersome. Help!!!! any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Steve

Good morning cyberageart,

Are you able to go to the particular folder where the images are stored on your computer and delete them from there?

Regards,
Tara

Thought I would add the following info. When I right click on the date to delete I get the following message: "Cannot close 2003-6-12. It is being used by another person or program. Close any programs that might be using the file and try again." I have no idea what this means or how to go about doing this. Thought this might help you in trying to resolve this problem. Thanks, Steve

Hi Steve,

Your camera probably saves them in a default folder. You might want to try saving another image off of your camera to see if you can find where the default folder is (it should give you a 'save as' option.) If that doesn't work, Windows XP should have a 'find' function - you can use this to locate files with a .jpg extension. You would enter *.jpg in the 'find files or folders' field. This will locate all files on your hard drive with a .jpg extension.

I hope this helps!

Thanks,

Diana
