No, you should be able to upload images as you always have.
Try the basics first, by clearing your cache/temp files, restart your browser and then even your machine.
If you continue to have trouble, try switching your upload location. If you had been uploading via the Image Hosting tab, go to the Sales Manager tab and use the Manage Images link instead, or vise versa.
