Is there a way to place an image somewhere else in the ad OTHER than the places where the photos go? I've been playing around with Gif images, and would like to place them in different spots inside the body of the description. Is that possible? Also, how does one make a clickable link with an image? Like "Enter Here" to link to the eBay store or a specific place inside the eBay store. I know they'll be links to the eBay store, but I might want something a little different. Also, say an image with a mailbox that they can click on and send me an email. I see these all the time, but don't know how to do it. Your help would be appreciated.

Hello,

Currently the Vendio preformatted templates are not setup to place images elsewhere in your ads other than the positions you see listed in the template workshop.

It is however possible to paste the HTML needed to place images elsewhere in your ad, by writing the code needed to make that happen and pasting it into the item description box.

This is the HTML code you would use to display an image that linked to somewhere :

<a href="http://www.yourURL.com/"><img src="www.mywebsite.com/images/mypicture.jpg"></a>

Regards,
Christopher

Christopher:

Thanks for your help. That html that you sent me that links to somewhere else - how do I put an icon to hide it? Like "Enter Here" or "Click here to Email" - something like that.

Hello,

The HTML I entered above is to link someplace using only an image.

Here is how you would link to test :

<a href="http://www.sampleURl.com">This is what will appear in the ad, linked to the URL listed prior</a>

Here is how you would link to an email address :

<A href="mailto:[email protected]">Insert text here, and it will be clickable and linked to the address listed</A>

Regards,
Christopher
