I just read that eBay is changing the Vintage Clothing Categories again!! This is suppose to take place on Oct. 14-15th. So, here is my question. I presently have 18 pending items which are all in different vintage clothing categories. Since new numbers will be assigned to many of the vintage clothing categories, will the numbers that I have used with the pending auctions need to be changed before launching? Would I need to go into my pending auctions and change them to the new numbers, if I decided to launch them "after" the change takes place? What about if I wanted to launch them before the change takes place and they happen to "end" on the 14th or 15th when the categories are being changed?? It was such a mess the last time categories where restructered and numbers changes, that I would like to avoid any problems..if that's possible.
The numbers typically don't get assigned until after the changes have been made. If it happens before those auctions of yours launch, you will need to double check them all to see if your category was altered. If you have active items when the category change happens, those items should still run and close like normal. I hope this helps!
