Hi Sonya ? Got the upload photos to work, Thank You! But there seem to be many WEBTV ISSUES, this time. ===> [ON GOING DISCOVERY STREAM to follow] ===>
The "Detach Selected Images" button doesn't function anymore. I'm trying to relist an auction, and delete the old photos, so i can attach the ones i just loaded. I mark the ones to discard, and click the button, but nothing, i mean NOTHING happens. Actually, the attach photos button doesn't work either. The standerd photo/relist system just doesnt work at all, it seems.
O, i see NOTHING ON THE ENTIRE PAGE WORKS !!! Any thoughts beyond the Standerd "WE NO LONGER SUPPORT THE WEBTV FORMAT RESPONES" ? As you can see, i've been a loyal customer for 5 years now, an have a stable of Relists i work from everyday. I hope enginering will be able to fix these "Glitches" one more time, as my account does represent an awful lot of work, i would hate to loose. You understand, i'm sure.
Help me OBjuan, Your my only Hope. Thanks, Terry

Odamn is correct! On the Create Listing page, the Attach, and Delete Image Buttons, the Description Box, and all the round clickable buttons (Gallery Pictures etc.) do not work. I also have alot of hours and work stored in my Auction Control Panel, that I now can't use. We finally are getting into the busy season, and we can not create listings. Please help! Thanks

More bad news! Tried to use Image Hosting Only for my pictures, and Can Not enter the box, to copy and paste the information to transfer to Ebay. Now, there is no way, for me to get to over 1000 pictures I have stored on Vendio, under my 2 ID's. Now what can I do?

Hi Chatsworth34,

What methods are you using, to attach your images? Please outline what you are picking step by step.

Regards,

Sonya

I went to Control Panel, clicked on Manage Images and then clicked on the picture I wanted. Hit Attach Image button on bottom of that page, went on to the page that showed picture and then went on the the page that has the box with all the html for the pictures and Vendio's information, that I should copy and paste to take to insert at Ebay. I can not enter this box to copy and paste the information. It is the same as the description box on the create listing page. I try to click and enter and nothing happens!!

Hello chatsworth34,

Please try the same thing from the Image Hosting tab - let us know if that works any better for you.

Thanks,

Diana

Dear Diana,
I never tried the Image Hosting Tab. It all seems to work, including access to the description box, but the Cancel button at the end of the page, does not work. As it was a test, I did not try the Launch button, so do not know if it is working. Is there any hope of using the Auction Manager service again? What do we do with all the relists and pending auctions that we have? Please help!

Has anyone replied to the question of the Webtv status? Is it going to return as normal or do we have to work around to get items on ebay.Going through image hosting does not leave very many opitions. Can you even save the listing if you need to before you list on ebay?

Are you ever going to address the webtv problem? It seems that everytime you introduce some new feature, we webtv users suffer. Image hosting does NOT work to list items. Nothing is working to list items. It's been a week now and I'm losing money. This is getting ridiculous. Won't anyone at Vendio deign to answer our repeated outcries for help? Frustrated in New York!

Has anyone ever figured out how to enter and type in Description Box on the launch page ??? To enter a description, I have to go ahead and launch the auction, then go into eBay and revise it by typing in a description. Even then, the description shows up below the images instead of the area that says " your description will go here" ! It looks really stupid for that notation to show up on the actual auction page when the description is not there but is shown below, after the images. HELP! Please fix this and the images upload glitches for WEBTV users who have been loyal uers of Vendio (Auction Watch) over several years!

Umm. At the risk of being flamed to a cinder, dare I suggest you just buy a COMPUTER like everyone else has? If you are doing business on eBay and it is important to you, then you ought to ante up for the basic tools. Marshall

Marshall - I have several of my own personal reasons for not having a computer. I've been using Webtv and Auctionwatch for 5 years now. If YOU have a computer, why are you even reading this thread?
I'm getting my blowtorch out now.

For those who are looking for a work around in the description box, I have found a way to enter the info. When you get to the description box hit the cmd and the delete button at the same time. That will remove the words in that box. Scroll all the way down to the shipping info box and type your item description there. When your done hit cmd and the a button, then cmd and the x button, it will make your words disapear. Scroll all the way back up to description box and hit cmd and the v button and there you go! BUT... now that the image hosting is not working I fear all of us web tv'ers are toast when it comes to Vendio. WE GET NO RESPECT and now I am trying out another hosting site. Makes me sad, I have been with Vendio for years and have brought many new customers to them. I have 40 boxes of items to list, VENDIO PLEASE FIX THIS PROBLEM!!!!!!

I (also) cannot use the description box or attach photos on Vendio as of now. The people on Web TV use this site as a primary source to list their auctions. When are companys going to learn that more glitz is not always better, it is one more thing to go wrong. In this case it messed up Web-tv users. What was wrong with the old basic format for an auction? Do people really need to see streaming banners or shadow backgrounds? Most auction buyers look at the picture and the price. Most auction sellers want a simple easy to use format, like you had when you started AUCTIONWATCH. (Not all the bells and whistles). I hope Vendio can resolve the mess soon. Are there any other auction hosting sites out there for the Web-Tv user?

Thank all of you for your suggestions regarding how to enter Description Box !

I have found a way to upload images on eBay launch form ! When you come to the list of images on the launch page, go ahead an click on those you wish to attach. THen complete the rest of he launch page. When you get to the bottom of the page, hit "save" rather than "launch". This will bring up the item under "pending" on the Auction Control Panel. Click on the Title and you will see the completed launch page with the chosen images atached. Proceed to the botom of the page and hit "Launch" to Launch th auction item, complete with attached images !

Thanks to our fellow Webtv'ers, I've found the easiest way to launch an auction. (1) Enter the title and price; (2) go to the description box, hit CMD+DELETE (which will wipe out the text); (3) click the checkboxes for the images you want to attach (don't click "attach", just check off the boxes); (4) fill in as much of the rest of the page as you normally would; (5) in the PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS box, type your auction description text (you can include HTML if you'd like); (6) cut & copy what you just typed (CMD+C then CMD+X>; (7) go back to the description box and hit CMD+V (paste) and boom! You're all filled in. Go to the bottom of the page and click "EBAY PREVIEW" - you'll be fine from there and you can launch without saving anything into "pending". THANKS TO OUR WEBTV FRIENDS (and thanks for NOTHING to Vendio).
