Can someone tell me if there is a tech problem with images that are added? I've been getting emails from potentials buyers asking for a pic. When I go to the auction page, they are missing? Am I doing something wrong?

Hi Machelleaw,

Did you upload these through Sales Manager, or did you do them through Sales Manager Pro? Please let us know.

Regards,

Sonya

Thanks for your quick reply. I used sales manager, as I always have. I haven't done anything different in the way I do the auctions.

Hi there,

I checked a couple of your auctions, and I see that there is no picture attached within the template.

Did you happen to create your listings, and then add the images to them later? The problem might be that they were saved initially without the images.

If this is not the case, please describe for us the steps you took when creating your listings.

Thanks,

Diana

Hi Diana

Here's the steps I take. I select category, create a title heading. I copy & paste my HTML code into the description box, select which images I want from the upload box on the first page. Choose 7 days to run the auction, choose a template and then I scroll down to preview my image, then I hit the back button to the first page and press Launch.

Ok, try this - next time, when you preview your listings, don't use the back button to exit the previw. Instead, use the buttons at the bottom of the preview page. Any time you use the back button when creating or launching a listing, you run the risk of unexpected behavior.

Thanks,

Diana

Thanks for the help! Will give this a try!

Now what about when I hit "Click to view supersized image" in my auctions, they are still the same size? Small?

Hello Machelle,

When you click to enlarge your images, you are clicking to see the image at its fully uploaded size. What we do is take images wider than 250 pixels and scale them down to 250 wide with the click to enlarge link on them.

Unfortunately, if your original is only 260 pixels wide, the click to enlarge option will seemingly load the same size image, since the original was only ten pixels wider than the one appearing directly within your listing.

Regards,
Christopher
