Hi -- I'm intrigued by eBay's idea of adding a subtitle to the title in the search listings .... will we be abel to do this through Vendio?

Am I wrong about this subtitle thing? It is my understanding that the subtitle will only come up in the "title and description" search and not in the "title" description..so what's the advantage?? Why pay the extra $$ for this feature?

No, it doesn't have to be a title and description search ... I see them pop up when I do just a regular search without checking the "search title and description" box.
However, the words in the subtitle will only bring the auction up if someone is searching within both title and description.
I think the only advantage will be when selling something a lot of other people are .... you can say something that will make them choose to open your auction instead of the others (like FREE SHIPPING or 100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEE) .... stuff you don't want to waste title space for, but stuff you'd like bidders to see right away.
I don't agree that it should be fee based, either, but I've learned to live with other mini-fees that have worked to my advantage, so I was just curious about this one.

most buyers do not read beyond the first few words. this feature will improve ebay's bottom line and increase the sellers listing fee's.
Republican, the other white meat!

Hello gousainc,
You will need to download the new version of SM Pro to take advantage of the subtitles feature (if you are using a version earlier than 5.5, the feature will be available in the auto-update.)
Thanks,
Diana
Edited to add - the new version of SM Pro will be available 11/5.
