What is the best way to make sales reports with your system? Do you have quickbooks interaction?

Hi there,

We do not currently offer quickbooks integration. Sales reports are something we are currently evaluating, however. Unfortunately I do not have an ETA, but you should be able to create a basic sales report by using Sales Archive - you can archive your sales and then download the data into a CSV file.

Thanks,

Diana

If you do not use Excel what other programs can you download the .csv file into and are there any simple guidlines to doing this without a whole bunch of mumbo jumbo showing up in the desired fields.

The rub is that since you can only download from archive you are eternal 90 days (or whatever your archive durationis) behind.

Hello all,

sportsource, any application that will open an Excel CSV file will work (MS Works, MS Word, etc.), however because the downloaded file is a CSV it will be much easier to format in a spreadsheet.

crowdercomicshop, you might want to take a crack at downloading your archives, in both basic and complete format so that you can see what the reports look like and what will work best for you.

davebraun, while the auto-archive default is 12 weeks, you can set it at a more frequent interval - you can also manually archive your sales if necessary.

Thanks,

Diana

Not good enough. I should have access to the data without having to archive it. There are times that I still need items in post sale but also need the data for a report. One instance is at the end of each quarter or while a quarter is in progress in order to project upcoming tax liability. My work around is to archive and them restore but that creates more work and I believe Vendios main selling point is to reduce work load.
