I had a customer pay for a winning auction with PayPal. I don't think he used Vendio checkout properly, however, he paid to the email address pointing to [email protected] and not my actual email address. Both PayPal and Ebay show no payment was made yet Vendio does. The customer insistes he has paid. Where are the funds and can they be moved to my actual account?

Hello,

You may want to ask how they got this email address to submit payment to in the first place. That is not the address you have stored here, nor is it your default address for eBay. The only way you would be able to receive that payment would be if you had stored that address as one of the addresses you can accept payment with at PayPal.

Also, the receipt should have been sent to your primary address, since that is where the mailstep.com one forwards to. See if you can click on it to receive it or even deny it, then ask them to make payment to your actual paypal address instead.

The main issue will be finding where they got this mailstep address to remove it, if you have not set it up with PayPal to accepts funds with.

Regards,
Christopher
