Hello. This afternoon the site is running somewhat slow when going to post auctions. Catagories are coming up slow and then when the next page comes up, have to wait for it to load before proceeding. Other parts are running fine.

it is 4:18 and the site is as slow as I have ever seen it on DSL. Takes forever to switch from pics to auctions and pending to auctions.

Me too. Very slow to load photos and auctions. And I am using a cable modem. This must be really slow with dial-up.
Anyone from Vendio reading these posts - it would be nice to find out if there is an issue that is being unaddressed.......

Hello - there are no current issues with our system that would cause site slowness (if there was a problem, we would announce it on our Announcements board.) Slowness is generally related to either your connection (many users can be affected by connectivity issues that are occurring between their system and our servers), a browser issue (please be sure to clear your browser's cache frequently), or some software running in the background.
If you have any ad-blocking software or a virus-checker running in the background, you might want to try disabling these to see if that will help.

I find this rather hard to believe that all of us are having connection problems. All the other sites I visit are running as normal but Vendio has slowed quite a bit in the past few days. Especially in the post sale management and relisting. I really doubt that it has anything to do with our connections and has more to do with Vendio.

I agree - whenever I experience slowness I clear my cache, remove all cookies, do a SpyBot search & destroy..NEVER ACCESS through AOL..site seems to work better at night..could it be that you are working on something that causes the delays during working hours? The delays I experienced were in editing auctions (relists) in pending...took forever for the listing to show after selected from "pending" when normally it is instantaneous!

Yes, my listing problems seem to be worse during the day than at night! I did all the usual clearing processes, but things are particularly slow today. Any other remedies???

Its amazing how they still think it is only one or two people having this problem. Apparently it is more wide spread than they think.
