Hey folks.
How do i reference that images that i put in "image hosting" in my html.
I am away that the small images are auto-referenced in the vendio store.

How can i refence larger images in my html page.
Example:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=41468&item=3720097373&tc=photo
(if i wanted the large picture of the microphone hosted by vendio).

Would the link look like:
http://www.vendio.com/my/ihost/?page=1&sortm=a
if so, it doesn't show!

To obtain the code which contains your image URL(s), follow these steps:

1. Click the Image Hosting tab.
2. Check the box next to the image(s) that you wish to select.
3. On the bottom of the page, click the "Attach" button.
4. Choose "Other Auction Site (generate HTML)", select New Auction, and click "Continue"
5. On the next page, copy and paste the entire block of HTML (which includes your image URL) into the description box of the auction listing form.

If you wish to use only the image URL, it/they will be embedded in the HTML code generated by our system. If you do not have the "click to enlarge" feature enabled, the image url will look like this:

http://imagehost.vendio.com/bin/imageserver.x/00000000/yourAWusername/yourimagefilename.jpg

If you have the "click to enlarge" feature enabled, you will need to alter the ".mids" URL to create the correct image URL. To do this, just remove the /.mids portion of the URL. Here is an example:

Before:

http://imagehost.vendio.com/bin/imageserver.x/00000000/yourAWusername/.mids/yourimagefilename.jpg

After:

http://imagehost.vendio.com/bin/imageserver.x/00000000/yourAWusername/yourimagefilename.jpg

The "after" URL can be used in any auction and can be altered to point to any image in your list simply by changing the image filename portion - just be sure that the filename *exactly* matches the filename on our site (case-sensitive.)

Is there a way that i can bring the current listings that I have in my "online vendio" down into my Sales Manager Pro (like my images)?

Hello,

There is no direct way to do this, but there is a workaround. First, you would need to save these listings into your online inventory. To do this you would need to click the 'copy' link in the action column for each active listing, to get them down into pending listings. Then edit each one, choose the 'save to inventory' option, and save your changes. You may then delete that item from your pending as you won't need it anymore.

After you have done this for each item, please go to this link to download your online inventory:

http://www.vendio.com/my/client/selectdump.html

Once the inventory has been downloaded into a .csv file, it can be imported using the following steps:

In Sales Manager Pro, go to Tools -> Inventory Importer -> Text File (comma-separated fields.) Find your file, click "Import", and map the fields.

If you find that there are non-matching fields, leave the map field blank. Note that the field titles in the inventory importer do not necessarily match the downloaded inventory title exactly. Also, if you are using Sales Manager Pro, be sure that you detach any images that have been removed online before you download your inventory, as you will receive an error on import if the image attached to your inventory item does not exist online.

Regards,

Sonya
