Will we be able to add this from vendio in the near future?

Hello,

There are no announcements currently available as to when/if Vendio would offer this new PayPal credit option on our listing form. We will be happy to pass along your note as a suggestion to add such an option in the future.

Regards,
Christopher

I asked for it last week. VENDIO NEEDS TO SUPPORT THIS OPTION and not keep dismissing it! It is crucial for power sellers of big ticket items.

I have to manually revise every single auction to accept this now. I have a lot of auctions going at once. YIKES.

Hello,

Thank you for your feedback. It is a new feature, we are not dismissing it -- I logged your request as well and will continue to do so for all customers who request this feature.

Regards,

Sonya

Put my name on the list too. This is an important option on higher ticket items. It takes considerable time to manually change the listing. Hopefully Vendio will plan to support this financing option VERY SOON!

ANYTHING NEW ON THIS? This thread is getting old and now we are seeing a survey on enhancements to image folders. Honestly, I do think it would take less time and work to add a link to the PayPal financing option than it would to totally revamp your image folder system.

PLEASE ... high end power sellers need TO BE ABLE TO OFFER THIS!

OK - I have just wasted a whole bunch of time revising auctions and I am still not done. I HAVE to offer this option to remain competitive. If my competition offers it, so do I.

Now, are you going to offer this service or not?

Right now, using Vendio is crippling me - instead of enhancing me - and I need to know ASAP - if I need to go to another service that offers a complete listing package or if Vendio is going to offer it.

Why does any seller want to use a service that doesn't allow them to list with all of the benefits available to them? If you aren't going to offer this service - please explain why? And please answer promptly - as my time is worth money and wasting time revising auctions and writing on this forum is costing me money!!

Hello,

We plan to offer this feature however I do not have an estimated time frame as to when that will be. We are evaluating the best way to integrate the new PayPal Financing option with our services -- this involves some discussion with PayPal. We will keep you updated as we hear more.

Thank you for your patience.

Regards,

Sonya

Corksmom- wow. I couldn't have said it better myself. Vendio is consistently the last of the third party auction services to offer links to eBay enhancements. On the other hand, it is consistently one of the LEAST expensive of the services. Hmmmmm.

Hi,

We expect to release our support for the PayPal financing option next week.

We would like to support every feature instantly, but that goal cannot always be met. For example in this particular case, eBay has some inconsistencies and an error in their implementation that prevent our releasing support, although we hope to resolve them to meet the launch goal.

Meffle - thank you very much for your consistenly great replies to our problems. Rather than just paying us lip service (which tends to make your users more frustrated), you give straight answers and I, for one, appreciate your candor and your detailed responses.

Thanks! If you can give your back room any feedback, please tell them that
1) we think you're great and
2) PLEASE GET US PAYPAL FINANCING OPTIONS! This is CRITICAL. I am literally sitting on about 40 high end art auctions that I do not want to list yet because I do not want to have to manually revise every auction. What do you think? Any chance for this option this week???

lennonhall,

Thanks for your feedback. I'll pass along your urgency to the team. I don't want to commit to a date I feel has too much risk (eBay dependency, other commitments, etc.), so I can not promise support this week. If you need to make alternate arrangements, I understand, but I'd rather not have you count on support this week. Thanks again.

Hi,

I have to apologize for a delay on releasing this feature. During testing, we had some issues where documentation didn't line up with the actual API implementation and testing went longer than expected. These issues have been largely resolved, and I have strong confidence that this feature will launch on Wednesday, July 21st. My sincerest apologies for this unexpected delay.

Meffle - thanks once again for your concise and helpful reply. Could you look at my "Categories Gone" thread? You seem to the CS rep that responds to my posts in the most responsive manner and I could use all the help I can get on this issue.

Thanks so much, as always, for your help!

Hi,

Per our recent announcement, we launched our support for Buyer Credit earlier today:

"eBay and PayPal recently enabled sellers to offer credit as a payment option to buyers using PayPal to pay for transactions. We now support PayPal Buyer Credit in the Vendio Sales Manager service. You can select your global Buyer Credit option in MyAccount-->eBay Site Specifics, or this selection can be made when creating individual inventory items or Sales Manager listings. Items with no Buyer Credit option selected will still carry the free Buyer Credit option eBay offers on items over $199. We hope this new buyer payment option increases your sales of higher value items."

lennonhall, I've asked someone better equipped to answer your other thread. Let me know if you haven't received a reply. Thanks!

Meffle - My other problem was solved with the relaunch of your latest version of the categories.

It would have been a lot easier if someone had just acknowedged that Vendio was working on the menu. Here I was being told that I was the only person on the planet with that problem and that I had to download software and hop through a hoop backwards to find a workaround. Meanwhile all along there were people in the backroom looking into it apparently.

Thanks so much for your responsiveness as always. I wish all the Vendio CS people were like you!

I have seen where to change it as you describe in your post above. However is this a global thing? I cant see in the software how to change it for each item as I am creating the auction.

What if I want to do a 3 month plan for something that is $200 and a 6 month for something that is $1000?

Can that be done?

The per item Financing options are located between Payment Options and Shipping options in Sales Manager.

I'm sorry I didn't pick up on that. We have not yet released a new SMPro version with Buyer Credit available on a per item basis, so it would be global for you at this point. I do not yet have a release timeline yet for the next SMPro.

In the meantime, if per item selection of buyer credit is relatively rare for you, you can launch these exception items to pending from Pro and edit buyer credit from there. If it's a common action, we'll support that usage in the next Pro version.

My apologies for the confusion.
