The buyer changed ebay address after WBN is sent and the buyer uses new email address to access the "preferred checkout" at auction listing page and is blocked. The page asks the buyer to enter "email address registered with ebay" and no buyer would think of entering the old email address.

Is there a better way to eliminate this problem that is caused by using email address to verify buyer's identity?

Hi Volksphoto,

If you change the email address in the Edit Buyer screen to your winner's new email, they should be able to check out without any trouble. You may do this by clicking on the fulfillment checklist, and clicking the Edit Buyer link. Unfortunately they'd need to tell you first that they haven't been able to check out -- but this should eliminate the problem.
