Sonya,
#1) 'Pantlines' asked about no function available for increasing "Inventory" view default from 5 to 100 and you answered by explaining how to increase the default view in "Sales Manager Display" for "Pending"!
There is no option for default views for "Inventory" in "Sales Manager Display"!!
There never has been & I've always wondered why and am quite frustrated too when I have to constantly change it from 5 to 100 everytime I go into it. Once changed to 100, it does not stay at 100 views, but always goes back to 5 views each time you exit.
Why no default options for Inventory Views???
#2) What is the logic for having "OK to start (a UPI)" next to ALL the items in the "Awaiting Payment" category when it is NOT OK to start for ALL of them? eBay has a 7 day waiting period from auction close to starting a UPI, unless the buyer becomes unregistered or a mutual decision is made to cancel the bid, both of which are rare.

Hello,
I am not sure what post you are referring to (there are several) but to answer your question -- the default view for inventory can be increased on the actual inventory page. If you change it from 5 to say, 50, and you leave inventory and come back, your setting of 50 should be retained.
There are a couple cases in which you can file a UPI immediately so technically -- it would be OK to start the UPI right away, but you have to choose one of those options. Even if these options may be rare, they still do occur.

Sonya,
#1) I clearly explained "Once changed to 100, it does not stay at 100 views, but always goes back to 5 views each time you exit", so your answer belies that fact that you aren't really reading the question carefully. I know it is "supposed" to stay at what you selected to view last time you opened it, but it does not.
#2)I wonder who is creating these defaults when they KNOW the default is the extreme rarity? Why, for goodness sake, have "OK To Start" next to all unpaid auctions if it is meaningless? Why even bother providing this link titled that it is "OK", when, clearly, the VAST majority of these are not yet OK ? What is the point of this futile option??? If it is incorrect or misleading, get rid of it - it serves no purpose! At its worst, it WASTES time, since it causes us to go into each & every auction & go through the whole process of filing the UPI, only to get an "error" notice later that it didn't go through because it, in fact, was indeed, NOT YET OK TO START???
1. How many items per page are in inventory when you go there right now? I logged into your account a second ago, and it defaulted to 100 per page in your inventory.
2. Thank you for the feedback on this tool. I will forward your message to the correct department for evaluation.
