I'll be the first to admit that I LOVED the pricing on Vendio's image hosting. The new pricing is now double for me.
While I mull this new pricing over, I have 2 issues:
1) Why is there such a large JUMP in pricing from the 2nd tier to the 3rd (from 5MB it jumps to 55MB)? Right now I have 13.28MB. I'll NEVER in my wildest dreams get anywhere close to 55MB. Can't you strike a happy medium between the 2 somewhere with a tier or two more?
2) After deleting several images, I see that the amount of MB I have stored didn't reduce. Then I read that they're stuck in the recycle bin for 14 days?! So, in essence, I'll be "paying" for them anyway until you purge them? That hardly seems fair. Couldn't you give us an option to put them in the Recycle Bin or NOT?
3) If we use Sales Manager, and our regular fees (List, FVF, etc.) don't exceed the monthly image hosting cost, then am I to understand that I'll be paying $9.95 on TOP of the other fees? If that's the case, whose idea was that? The high volume sellers get a break and the little guys don't? I'm confused.
4) If I MUST pay for the 3rd tier at $9.95 per month, could you make it so I can upload and use my background and divider images, instead of having them hosted by someone else?

I'll try to answer each:
1. There is a large jump between 5MB and 55MB but the price jump is only $4.95 to $9.95. What that means is that the $9.95 level is a steal! There were many factors that went into the rationale for each level but the main one was to accommodate the average image storage for users who pay around $10/mth in Sales Manager/Tickets/Stores fees. Since we wanted to affect existing users as little as possible, we had to make the storage limit 55MB in order to minimize any potential fee for these users.
2. We now provide an Empty Recycle Bin button for this reason. Simply click that button in the Recycle Bin to purge the images and bring your image storage down.
3. All Sales Manager, Tickets and Stores customers receive credits for Image Hosting fees. So you'll only pay the difference - not a full $9.95. Everyone gets a break
4. Sure you can host those images in Image Hosting. Now we provide permanent storage too so you won't have to worry that images like that get deleted. You will have to set their Auto-Renew settings to do so.

Thanks for your quick reply. You've clarified alot.
I have the Pay As You Go Plan. Last month my invoice was for $7.16. So does that mean I would pay the $9.95 instead?
If this is true, how about a happy medium tier of $7.95, for say 25-30MB of storage? It's not alot, but saving $24 per year would be nice. There's absolutely NO WAY I'd come close to 25MB of storage in any given month, and that's with an average of 6 photos per auction, left online for 3 months or more.
I would like to be able to upload my 5 or so background and divider images to Vendio and use those URL's in my personal template. Where would I find the URLs to use in my IMG SRC tag?
