Hello: Can anyone tell me how to save/make a "pending" auction without choosing a category?.....I have always kept at least one "pending" auction saved with my basic terms and code (for a few years now) but this pending auction had no category.....I would just copy a bunch of them and when I click on the title to write the description I would choose the category and get right to work.....I made the mistake of using the last one without copying it first....It's been so long I dont remember how I did it....Thanks in advance for any help
Unfortunately you cannot save a pending listing without having a category chosen. You may want to use inventory instead, to save your basic terms and code -- you can then either launch from inventory, or save your item as a profile item which you can then apply to new listings.
Please click this link for more information on how to save an item as a profile item.

Hi: Someone said, in Ebay Outlook a long time ago that she saves her stuff (as you want to do) with a phony category listing. No harm, no foul. You could do that, too.

Thanks Roadsmith...that's pretty close to what I'm trying to do...I would rather get the launch error and fix it than launch in the wrong category...
