I just switched from using ANDALE and Inkfrog- to Vendio, and i am hoping i made the right move. I am needing ability on customer checkout for them to record their credit card information so i can process their cards offline. I would also be willing to have the checkout directed to my cc processor - i used cardservice (which i see you are advertising on your site) - how can i get my current merchant account connected. if not possible, can i atleast get the credit card info captured?
- right now, when i view the checkout that a customer would see, it notice only 2 paymnent options - 1/paypal 2/money order - i only want credit cards/money orders/certified funds etc. to be the option -
The only credit card merchant we are integrated with, in terms of checkout, is Verisign. We have an option under My Account > Global Preferences called Direct Offline Processing which allows you to check off credit card types, and put in directions for customers on how they can make a payment to you via credit card. Some customers provide a phone number, others put directions in that the customer can leave it in the message to seller box as it is a secure page. It is up to you how you wish to proceed with this. You mentioned you can have checkout directed to your cc processor so if they provide you with a page to enter credit cards, you can put the URL for it in that box so customers will see it at the end of checkout and know they need to go there.
