I have noticed a problem with the updating of some of my inventory items "quantity at auction" during the past several days. I am using sales manager not the new SMIE.

The problem is not on all items as some items update properly when they sell and others do not. I know of at least 3 items this has happened on but there may be more as I have over 200 items on auction and over 500 in my store.

Any help would be appreciated as I depend on Vendio to keep track of the items I have on eBay.

Hello,

The quantity at auction will have a number if you listed the item from inventory. Can you elaborate on what is not updating properly -- are these new listings that you launched from inventory? Are they relists?

Sonya,

As an example you can see my inventory item "Disney Cheshire Cat Harmony Kingdom LE Box/Sculpture" which was listed and launched from inventory yesterday.

I launched and sold 2 of this item last night and the "quantity at auction" is still 2 when it should be "0"

There are a couple of other newer items where this has also happened.

I have not checked on all older items yet as I do not have the time to review every listing but it looks like most are updating properly when they sell or the item listing ends without a bid.

I list and launch all my listings from inventory and have never seen this happen before.

I have forwarded this information to engineering, who are now aware of this problem. We will post back to you when it has been resolved.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

Sonya,

It seems that the origional problem with inventory not updating may be corrected but now I have an even larger problem.

Somehow many of my items have multiple items on eBay and I did not launch them.

Also some items have more listings on eBay then I had listed items available in inventory.

As an example see my listing for "Disney Haunted Mansion Headless Light-Up Figurine LE400"

I only had 6 of this item, I sold 5 and there should have been "1" listed on eBay but now there are "2"

This means that the software listed an extra item even though it was not available.

Vendio has now cost me extra listing fees and I will have to start spending extra time trying to figure out exactly how many items have been double listed.

Can you or the engineers/programers figure out what happened and fix it?

I also expect that Vendio will refund me the extra listing fees for this problem. I will try to figure out how many items have been double listed.

Let me know.

Al

Hello,

Since you have a lot of active listings, is it possible for you to provide us with the item numbers that are duplicates? You will need to contact eBay regarding ending the duplicates and getting the listing fee refunds from them. If you have a large list of items that were duplicates, please send an email to [email protected] with each item number that is a duplicate for which you want a refund for.

Sonya,

I just did a quick count of the duplicate auctions I have on eBay and it totals 44.

This is a problem caused by a malfunction with the Vendio software and I am not going to spend my time trying to find all duplicate item numbers nor will I fight with eBay about refunding listing fees caused by a Vendio problem.

I estimate that the extra eBay and Vendio fees I have incurred amount to approximately $1.00 per item and I expect Vendio to provide a refund to my account for that amount.

Please forward this to the appropriate Vendio dept for processing.

Hello,

I will forward this thread to the billing department who will contact you on this matter. I am not authorized to give refunds for this issue so I cannot promise you what the total will be. We are sorry for the troubles you have experienced.
