I have been pulling a lot of items out of my ebay store to put them out in auction. I need to know if I am doing something wrong or what... When I end the item on ebay, it ends. Then I come over to Vendio and it is still showing as active so I select it and hit refresh. Then it goes to the top of my active items list showing closed and sits there, and sits there, and just sits there. Sometimes taking approximately 4 hours for it to go to the close auctions section so that I can re-list it as an auction. What am I doing wrong???

Please help.
Kevin

Hello,

It sounds like theres a delay in recognition that the item is closed. When you end it, how long before you get your end of auction notice from eBay? As soon as you get it, please try refreshing the item again.

I did that today. I ended the item, then went to mail and the ended notice from ebay was there so I went back into Vendio and had to follow the steps listed above.
Today, I got tired of waiting (between 30 and 45 minutes) and copied the auction that I had ended and the re-listed it from pending. However that makes my closed/ended section a mess to figure out what just rolled off and what I ended. Let me know if you need more info.

I tried again yesterday. Pulled 2 items out of my ebay store, waited until I got the confirmation from ebay then went back into vendio. The first one was at the top of my Active Listings section showing ended. The second one I had to go find and refresh to get it to go to the top of my Active Listings section to show ended. Then 20 minutes later the first item went to my Closed Listings but the second item was still in Active Listings over 4 hours later. It did move down sometime last night.

Could this also be tied to the slow Automatic Emails that toyspast was talking about???
Please let me know.

Hi Kevin,

When you manually end items you may need to wait longer for them to move from active to closed. I am not sure if it is related to the slow WBNs. Usually, selecting it and refreshing it frequently will cause the item to move down but since you're ending it early, it generally won't happen instantly.

If this continues to be a problem for you, let us know.
