I was just heading over here to talk about this. Yep, the dropdown is back, but it's not any ordinary dropdown. It's a special little creation that we whipped up called a drop-field. With the drop-field, you can now select dates in 3 ways.
1. Use the blue arrow handle to pull down a list of near dates.
2. Type a date directly into the field. All the formatting logic is still there, so you can type 1/1/05 and we'll automatically convert it to Jan 1, 2005. You can do the same with the time - 1pm will convert to 1:00 PM.
3. Use the calendar icon to pop open a clickable calendar.
Whew... If this doesn't work for everyone, we'll promptly begin work on our egg crate and sundial system.
