I've got 2 stuck in closing.

2274850430 & 5588039350

While I realize that there is no one *working* at Vendio on the holiday...maybe by the time they return on Tuesday, these items will have finished closing?

I'm up to around 20 items now stuck. Too many to list here.

Needless to say I am actively considering other service arrangement.

All of today's sales are stuck in processing for me too. Surely someone from Vendio is around...

I've got 2 stuck in closing and more to close in the next hour or so. I *suppose* that they will be stuck also

I've also got GTC listings moving to closed and yet they're active listings on eBay.

What a mess!

Today's sales are stuck too. In looking through my Vendio "Closed" Control Panel I found one sales from Dec 22 that STILL shows as "closing" : 2175205290. That item has closed, been paid for and shipped.

It seems that <for me) just eBay store purchases are "stuck in closing". My auctions which ended last night closed fine.

Of the 2 store listings that I had stuck last night, one closed during the night. The other is still stuck in closing. That buyer is International and I would REALLY like to stop her from getting the WBN. She's already paid (I sent her an eBay invoice). Receiving a WBN today would just confuse this non-english speaking buyer.

:::SIGH:::

I have also have two stuck in closing for 12 hours and counting. I've tried refreshing about 10 times without success. The two buyers have already paid for the items, but it's pretty annoying to see them stuck like this. Please do something Vendio!

Sonya,
Please understand that after nearly 48 hrs. of no one even responding to this issure, I do not have a lot of faith that this "bug" will be corrected soon.
This is the a extemely bad situation for me and other sellers to be in.

Please understand this process:
Customer buys multiple items. Some items get stuck in closing and do not move to Post Sale. Seller has check-out redirect enable so Ebay Check-out is turned off. So therefore there is now no possible way to invoice buyers of multiple items.

And this is not a new problem! It surfaces every month or so!!

Hello Gottaluve,

We apologize for not addressing the issue in the forums -- it came up via email over the weekend and we brought it to the attention of our engineering team. I can understand how this can be misconstrued as us "ignoring" the issue and not caring to fix it since we did not post an update to this thread, but that is far from the truth. It is top priority right now and we will continue to update you when we have information. We understand the severity of customers not being able to checkout via eBay if you have checkout redirect enabled. Please be assured it is being addressed right now.

digironics - we fix all bugs that come our way, if you need an update on a specific issue, please let us know.

Regards,

Sonya

there is an issue with downloading postage data, here is the email i got from someone christopher on 12/29 which is about a week after reporting the problem first.

"This should be pushed live at the start of next week. The fix has been ready to go, but we are holding off on pushing a few fixes and new tools for after the first when the volume isn't as heavy. "

And in the mean time ????????

Just saw they released this announcement.

Listings stuck in "closing" status
01/02/06 - 12:09 pm PST
X00433 Open Post-sale

We are currently investigating reports of successfully closed listings that are stuck in "closing" status and have not moved to post-sale. This is a top priority issue, and we hope to have it resolved as quickly as possible. We are in communication with eBay to ensure that they are aware of the issue if it is originating with their system.

In the meantime, we recommend that you handle your sales manually. You should be able to identify the items that did sell as they will display "closing..." in the post-sale column.

We apologize for the inconvenience, and appreciate your patience while we work on this problem.

This item sold yesterday (another eBay store listing). It's not stuck in closing. The sale has never moved at all.

Fortunately, I've been paid and the item will ship this morning. But, I suppose that I will have no record of it in Vendio?

::ouble Sigh:::

Although this item: 7187584918 says it is stuck in closing. It is actually in my post sale area and marked paid. That is weird. It is not the only one.

All but one of the items which said closing have closed however there are many sales missing altogether (could be 40 - 50 sales)What is the estimate for when Vendio will be fully restored?

Hi there,

Our system has recovered by now, but it appears that there were some side effects from eBay's $0.10 listing day. This resulted in an unusually high volume of fixed-price listings ending on 1/1. This, coupled with some latency on eBay's side, created the problems you've experienced.

If you have missing items, please check your active list to make sure the items are not "stuck" in active (if so, check the boxes next to the items and click the Sales Manager "refresh" button.) There may be cases where the API did not confirm the launch of items - in this case, you should be able to use the "Track" function in Sales Manager to import the missing listings.

We do apologize for any inconvenience, and we have taken measures to improve the processing of fixed-price sales to minimize the risk of this happening again in the future.

Best regards,

Diana

5592017284 has an item that sold this afternoon. eBay knows that it sold. Vendio does NOT show it sold.

5636410302 had an item sold last night. eBay knows that it sold. Vendio does NOT show it sold. It's been sold/paid for/shipped. No sign of it yet in Vendio closed listings.

Hi,
I purchased 3 items from your eBay store. I received 2 emails from you, but neither one shows all three items. I would like to pay for this with one payment, but I do not know how to proceed . Your assistance would be appreciated.
Thanks.
