I sell fabric yardage at my ebay store. During checkout the customer is charged shipping for each yard purchased. Is there some way to eliminate that problem and set it to charge one price for 1- 7 yards and then another price for 8 - 20 yards?

I don't think there is any way to set it up to do it automaticly. When you combine using the automated system it add's whatever you have set for the cost per additional item. If each item is by the yard then it will add that amount per yard. What you may want to do is put a statement in your description that states if purchasing more than one yard of material please wait for me to send you a updated invoice that will reflect a shipping discount of your items combined for shipping. That's the kink of statement I have in my listing's and it seems to work for most people that CAN READ. The other boobs of the illiterate sort, ohh well, it pay's to read.
