Is it possible to relocate or diminish the size of the "Powered by Vendio" logo on my customer Invoice?

I have spent many hours reading the postings of merchant account providers regarding charge backs. Virtually all the merchant account providers were unanimous in stating that the Seller's Refund Policy be printed on the Invoice or packing slip enclosed with the merchandise.

Well, as you would expect, when my refund Policy is placed onto my Invoice, the Vendio logo interferes with the placement and cramps the Refund Policy. It would really help me and other Sellers if the logo were moved or diminished in size.

Do we really have to have the Vendio Brand so large and intrusive on our store operations material. It almost appears that we work for or are a part of Vendio, rather than Vendio providing services for us.

I know all the purported reasons for Vendio logos, etc., however, sometimes this all seems as if we are working for ebay, PayPal and Vendio. Everyone has their hand in my pocket, while I am marching to their tunes.

I'm with you on this one but good luck. Vendio likes to stick their oversized logo's everywhere they can. It's free advertising for them. Kind of like I wish Vendio would just make Delio just go awayio.

I would pay EXTRA for them to remove vendio logo from my invoices and my auction listings.

Please understand that I do not want to create a complaint thread. However, I am tired of being the one who pays the freight, and not having the ability to protect my business.

This is the problem. As I mentioned, it is recommended that to hold down charge backs, we should print our Return Policy on the invoice. That is a sensible recommendation, as the Buyer will have printed info in front of them when the package is opened. Conceivably, the Buyer would then contact the Seller, rather than contact PayPal, or their Credit Card Co.

Now, when you try to place a coherent Refund Policy on your Vendio invoice, it becomes squashed between the Vendio logo and the invoice totals. Not a pretty sight. Something has to give.

I am suggesting that the Vendio logo be moved or downsized. The relocation of the logo would make for a more business like presentation. And, assist me in avoiding potential chargebacks.

Hello kozersky,

I am sorry to hear that you are running into issues with the formatting of your invoice when adding your new Return Policy.

Since many of the improvements to our systems are based on customer feedback, I will be happy to pass your message along to the product manager for evaluation.

For the time being, perhaps some HTML code could be used to alter the text appearence to get a better fit.

Regards,
Christopher

Christopher: The complaints about the logo first surfaced when you FIRST placed the logo on the invoice. Many VD'ers complained that it was unprofessional looking, wasted ink, etc. I imagine koz's will go the same place as all of ours did then.

Back then folks just started doing work arounds. Someone started putting stickers there. Here is mine:

Bascially I just downloaded their invoice, fixed it the way I wanted and do a cut and paste of the seller, items, etc.

This allows a nice graphic, return policy and anything else you want. One extra step that we have to go through thanks to VD. I have to imagine that few if any of my buyers would suddenly flock to VD as a listing agent due to a crummy looking logo on a packing slip/invoice (that they probably throw away). Buy hey, that is just my opinion.

My solution to the Vendio logo on my invoices was to create a document in Microsoft Word. I set up a document called "fox-invoice.doc" and then by cutting and pasting what I want from the Vendio template, I have the perfect look.

The first thing I do is remove the logo. To save printer ink, I cut out unnessary information like the buyer's email, the words "United States" etc.and add my own messages.

Takes a few minutes longer, but by removing the Vendio logo I remove the distracting element. After all, the invoice is my marketing tool, not Vendio's.

Chris - Thank you for your reply. Any assistance would be helpful. In the meantime, since I want to complete legal updates this week, I will most likely place the refund policy on the back of the invoice and fold it so that the customer views it upon opening the package.

I understand the reasoning for the logo placement. It is just in the wrong place.
