While creating a new listing, if i hit the create button at the bottom of the page when I'm finished, the upload image page comes up.

When this happens, I'm using a profiled item to create the listing, adding, and changing the info i need to and changing the inventory folders i want the item to go to.

I'm working on-line, not with off line bulk listing tools.

The listing is created, but it is confusing, when i am used to my created listing popping up, not the upload image page.

Is this just a minor glitch with some new changes?

Also, tried to use promote UnWired yesterday and when i listed items to our eBay store the page timed out twice. We unchecked the promote UnWired box and the listings went through fine.

Hello,

Are you able to recreate this error yet at this time? If you are, where are you listing your items from exactly, via the Sales Manager or by going directly into Inventory?

If you haven't done so already, try simply restarting your browser and clearing the temp files/cache. Typically odd errors like this will be corrected by the above.

Christopher

I have created about 18 listings today and everyone has done this. I always create listings under the vendio store icon in sales manager.

When i am finished with the listing and click on the create listing button at the bottom of the page, the upload image page comes up.

I always create listings in the vendio store inventory first. Then i worry about eBay store and auctions.

I also used profile information from other listings for each of the ones i created today.

Hello,

Your right, it does take you to the image hosting upload page.

Sorry for the confusion, I had tested this by going into inventory directly and creating a new store item from here Vs the Sales Manager page.

We passed this along to the engineering team to check into and correct. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Christopher

I am having the same problem. Now I have an item in my Vendio store without an image.
How do I change this to add the image?

Hello,

No updates thus far. Note that the item will still launch, just that instead of taking you back to the main sales manager page as it did before, its mis-directing over to the image upload page instead.

For the time being if this is throwing off your routine, go to Inventory directly and click the 'new' button to create a new inventory item, which will walk you through the Vendio storefront listing setup process.

To edit an item in your storefront, go to inventory and click on the title of it to edit, make any needed changes and click to save the changes when finished.

Christopher

Hi Christopher, the problem is that it creates the store item without the image.
When I look at my store, my item is there without the image.

Hello,

Try doing another item (the way you have been, not using the other method I mentioned just above that isn't prone to error), this is the first we've ever heard from someone that as a result of the above an image isn't attached.

Let us know the results of your efforts.

Christopher

Christopher, I tried going to inventory and editing the item, however it still did not add the image.
How do I delete this item until this problem is resolved?

Christopher, never mind. I ended up having to completely delete the item from my inventory.
But there seesm to be a problem with editing my item through inventory.
I did add the image, however, when I viewed my store, the image was not there.

Same problem here. Goes to Upload image page if I try to launch, save or schedule a listing. Has been happening for over a week for me. I thought it was just me, now I don't feel so lonley.

Hello Ruby,

When you go to inventory and click on the 'new' icon to create a new storefront listing, what is happening that you are unable to do so?

We haven't heard or been able to replicate any issues with adding storefront listings via the inventory module thus far.

Christopher

Be careful. If you are trying to upload an image while creating an inventory item, then it will create a copy of the item wihtout a picture.

I found that when it went to image that I could use the "back" button to take me back to the item listing and that would allow me to include the image. But, then I had TWO saved inventory/store items. One with a picture and one without.
