Count History: 12/30: 1, 12/31: 5, 1/1: 0, 1/2: 0, 1/3: 0, 1/4: 1, 1/5: 0, 1/6: 1, 1/7: 0, 1/8: 1 --- Started:12/30/2005 --- Style:Smart

A buyer bought 2 items from my eBay store. One moved to sold; the other is stuck in Vendio limbo (NOT moved to sold) and I cannot combine the 2 sales.

While refreshing the unmoved sale a gazilion times, I note the count history (see above). Item was listed 12/30/05; counter looks bizare with NO hit counts since 1/8.

Has anyone at Vendio investigated why some of these eBay store listings take so long (if ever) to move to sold? If so, could some explanation be given to Vendio customers? There's at least one "my item hasn't moved to sold" thread on this board.

Hello,

Yes, we hear about this frequently, and the problem is that for multiple fixed-price or Dutch items, we sometimes do not get the notification from eBay (this tells us an item has closed) in a timely way.

There is a workaround, which is to locate the item in your active list by using the new "Search" tool, check the item and click the "Refresh" button at the top of the page.

This will trigger our system to go out and retrieve the closed data, and your item should move to closed within 15 minutes.

Let us know if you have any trouble with this.

Best regards,

Diana

*I* received the notification from eBay within a minute after the item was purchased. Do you receive a different notification from eBay? or, does that same email that I receive trigger Vendio to close the sale?

Also, in my original post, I noted that I had clicked *refresh* on the item a gazilion times. That did nothing. Eventually, several hours later, it moved to closed on it's own. Of course, by then, I had already sent a Paypal invoice with combined shipping to my customer.

I'm not trying to be obtuse....I'm just trying to find out what the problem is and if it can be fixed.
