I just did it with your item FARM JOURNAL'S COUNTRY COOKBOOK, 1959 1st Ed Cook Book.
Something that could be related is that you have some of your images in the recycle bin that just recently expired. If you still want to use those you will want to click on Recycle Bin, select them and click Undelete.
On the image hosting page, you may want to set the others to autorenew.

Hi Abe,
Now this is really, really, really strange... Your message is showing up as having posted to Vendio by me! ????
Anyhow, I just checked the cookbook listing and the same thing is happening. That is, once I click on the supersized image I can't get back by using the back to previous page links.
I'll go empty my image recycle bin.
Edited to add: The images in my recycle bin weren't involved but I emptied it anyhow.
My preferences are set to auto-renew.
This is happening on any auction of mine. Including the two yearbook listings I just created today.
Lucy

Hi there,
What browser / version are you using? I have tested this from here, using your account and I was able to return to the full preview from the enlarged image page by using the "Return to previous page" link on the top of the page. I am using IE 6.0.

Hi Diana,
I'm using Internet Explorer also. Not sure how to find out what version.
The problem does seem to be Vendio-related as it doesn't occur once the auction launches to eBay.
There's an auction in my pending that has images attached. It's a book on San Luis Obispo history. I just checked it and still can't go back from supersized image.
Perhaps if you take a look at one of my active auctions it will help us figure out what's going on.

I am having the same problem and it has been going on for about a week. Very annoying. Now I just tried to do an eBay preview of an auction and I got "Web page not responding"
Bah!!!
I tried to replicate this issue in both IE and FireFox but was unable to do so.
When I click either the 'Back to Previous Page' link or on the image itself it takes me back to the preview window where I left off.
This is a JavaScript command that tells the browser to go back one page. It is possible that your browser settings are somehow preventing this java command from allowing you to return to a preview page without reloading that page again.
Go to Tools+internet options, then click the 'settings' button in the temporary internet files section. Check to see what IE is set at for checking for newer versions of stored pages.
If yours is set to 'everytime you visit the page' - try switching this to 'everytime you start internet explorer' instead and try again.

Hello Lucy,
Is that to say that when you go to the enlarged preview page that you see a storefront promo?
If not, it has nothing to do with it, given all the other users with storefront promo's on their enlarged image pages at this time who aren't reporting issues.

Okay, SIX DAYS have passed and I'm still waiting for Vendio to get this fixed.
I can't get back to my full preview page after viewing the supersized image. Clicking on the Back to Previous Page links at either the top or bottom of the page gives me: Warning: Page has Expired. There are no browser buttons available.
THIS ONLY HAPPENS IN VENDIO. IT DOESN'T HAPPEN IN MY AUCTIONS ONCE THEY ARE ON eBAY.
One more time: THIS ONLY HAPPENS IN VENDIO. IT DOESN'T HAPPEN IN MY AUCTIONS ONCE THEY ARE ON eBAY.
Here are Vendio's responses to my original question:
Abe suggested maybe I was trying to use images in my recycle bin. Come on... That's just plain silly. I emptied my recycle bin. Not that it included any of the images in question but I did it anyway.
Diana asked what browser I'm using. She says she's using IE Version 6. Same one I use.
Christopher thinks maybe my browser settings are preventing the Java command to go back to the previous page. Okay, we'll check that one out. I tried every setting in IE. Even reloaded Java to be sure I was using the latest version. Didn't fix the problem. Not that I expected it would since THIS ONLY HAPPENS IN VENDIO.
Later on he thinks it's because I'm on AOL because another AOL user is having the same problem. Suggests I access Vendio through IE. No dice, Christopher, I don't access Vendio from AOL.
Then he asks if I'm seeing a storefront promo on my enlarged images. Says if I'm NOT it doesn't have anything to do with it because users who DO have storefront promo aren't experiencing the problem. Sorry, this statement doesn't make sense to me at all...
These suggestions from Vendio staff are all attempts to point to causes OUTSIDE of Vendio. I've done everything suggested by Vendio and I'm still having the problem.
Please don't patronize me by suggesting I "clear my cache" or any other such elementary nonsense. I'm getting very, very tired of having this problem tossed back onto me.
Is it possible - just possible - there is an error in the Vendio code within my account? Maybe because of the Vendio store? The Vendio store shows up in my subscriptions but doesn't show in my enlarged images or anyplace else.
One more time: THIS ONLY HAPPENS IN VENDIO. IT DOESN'T HAPPEN IN MY AUCTIONS ONCE THEY ARE ON eBAY.
So far, Vendio has tried to blame the problem on (1) me trying to use images in my recycle bin, (2) my browser version, (3) my browser settings and (4) the fact that I use AOL.
Aside from Christopher's incomprehensible comment about Vendio storefront promo, Vendio has not done anything that indicates to me they might-just-maybe-this-one-time accept responsibility for the problem or that they're working on a solution.

Hello Lucy,
Unfortunately, we cannot replicate this error using the exact same operating system as you and the exact same browser as you.
We are doing everything in our power to avoid telling you the truth, which is that we think the problem is on your side - but were just not sure what on your end would be causing it.
For pretty obvious reasons (THIS ONLY HAPPENS IN VENDIO) we try and avoid ever telling someone it might be something on their end until we know 100% what the actual cause is.
If it were a system wide issue, we would hear from more than 1 or 2 users that can replicate the issue.
If it were a problem specifically with your account, we would be able to replicate it by going into your account with the same equipment and taking the same steps that you are currently to replicate the problem - something nobody has been able to do, using all different browsers/operating systems and even connection from multiple locations.
It really is a WHOLE lot easier for us to say 'sorry, we'll let someone know and get back to you when we know more information on the issue' - rather than actually try to help you figure out what could be the cause and get it working again right now - rather than wait to hear back that its an end-user issue and that we'll need to go through exactly all of the steps that we have thus far just at a later date.
That being said, we have passed all of these details along to the engineering team on your behalf. When they diagnose the issue further we will post back to this thread.
Our apologies for being unable to hit the nail on the head so to speak with this particular issue, as well as if you took our troubleshooting to mean anything other than our just wanting to help you get back up and running again.
Its hard sometimes to troubleshoot an issue with someone that is under the assumption that your a bad guy out to get them when all you want to do is help.

Good morning Christopher,
I have a lingering suspicion this has something to do with the Vendio store which was opened to side-step the Dealio ad. That took place in September, I think. I can't find the thread, perhaps it was removed. The store promo was in my enlarged images in both places at that time. It isn't now.
Questions: Does the store promo show up when you check my enlarged image?
The fact that this doesn't happen anywhere else leads me to believe it IS something within Vendio. Some set-up in my account or whatever.
There are no browser buttons in the enlarged Vendio image. As I recall, there WERE browser buttons pre-problem. Has there been some change?
Thanks for referring this issue to engineering. I appreciate the help.

Hi Lucy,
There are no ads showing in your click to enlarge images. Also, when I do click on your enlarged images I am provided with navigational buttons to click right back to the auction. There has been no updates at all in regards to this area.

Hi Ed,
Aha! A clue! Something you see that I don't.
I don't have navigation buttons when I look at an enlarged image. The large image comes up, the top bar has ...About Working Offline, etc., but no browser buttons.
It's as though Vendio thinks I'm working offline, which I'm not. Puzzling, very puzzling...
There are Back to Previous Page links but they don't work. Well, they "work" in the sense that they take me to Warning: Page has Expired but that's not correct.
Thanks for the speedy reply. Please let me know if I need to do anything more.
