Dear irked,

For your convenience, we have recently started to send this notice
to inform you that we are in the process of reconciling your
account and will be charging your credit card for the total amount
due on your account within four days. We will send an invoice to
this email address within the next two days for the final amount.
In the meantime, you may review current charges on your Vendio
statement. You may use the below link to access your statement, or
log into your account and go to My Account -> Online Statement.

Link to Vendio statement:
https://secure.vendio.com/my/acct/statements.html

Please note that month-forward subscription fees, image hosting
credits, and Gallery and/or Reviser overage fees will not be
applied to your account until your billing day, so the total due
at the end of your billing cycle may be higher than the current
charges reflected on your account.

(due on your account within four days. We will send an invoice to
this email address within the next two days for the final amount. ) This statement tells me you send another email, isn't that kinda doubling your work by sending 2 emails instead of the normal way????

Where do I send a forward to Vendio if this is a spoof so they will have headers etc?

Hi there,

No spoof email here: This is something new that we just implemented to better communicate to our customers that we are in the process of billing their accounts. Please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns.

Thanks!

I do have a big concern. Per Vendio announcement board in regard to spoof e-mail "Vendio does not add attachments to account related e-mails, nor do we include a link that you would need to click to update your data. If an email includes either of these, it is generally an indication of a spoof e-mail. If you have any questions about your account status, you can log in to your account directly at www.vendio.com. If you have questions about the validity of an email, please contact us directly via the Contact Us form."
I also received this email. It is in my Spam folder and rated "high". I opened the email and did not click on the links and came to the site to check this board. I do not understand WHY Vendio is sending emails with links. It is confusing and in contradiction with safety rules everyone is trying to follow.

Hi there,

Thank you for the feedback. We will remove the link from that email (it was inserted as a convenience, but I can see your point).

Thanks,

Diana
