I have auctions (actually ebay store relists) that are erroring out as I relist them. I have given up for tonight, but noticed that two actually did launch, although they show as 'error' in my pending ['error' message states no confirmation of launch]. This has happened before...and they do not show up in my active items on Vendio. Yes, I can import them, however imports never have their original 'post-sale' with them (though all were created in Vendio). Also, if I import these, it is actually like creating a 'new' auction/store item, which can wreck havoc if I ever relaunch the original 'errored' item in pending- then I have 2 of the same items out there on auction (when I only have one item)

Is there any way to attach the original post-sale functions to an active item that is not showing in Vendio? I almost think that the best solution will be to end the those 2 store items that launched (as Vendio seems to have no verification or record of it) and relist them through the 'error' listing in Pending...

any thoughts on the best solution so that I will have some record of their sale as well as post-sale options?

Hi there,

I do see that there was some eBay API latency yesterday evening. This can cause the 'ambiguous launches' that you are referring to.

Unfortunately, aside from manually editing the post sale info for the imported items, there is no way to attach the original post-sale data to them. I'm not sure what is more time consuming for you, but maybe ending those listings and relisting from pending might be the better option. We are happy to credit whatever listing fees resulted from the ended listings.

Best regards,

Diana

Thanks Diana,

I thought I had read that you could add the post sale functions to an imported auction, but still wasn't sure if that was an option (or just wishful thinking!) I would much rather do that if it is possible (as it is only 2 auctions so it shouldn't be time consuming). I know how to import, but don't know how to add the post-sale functions. Please let me know how to do it, if it is possible

If not, then ending them will be the next choice.
