Please help. My email from billing didn't answer specific questions.

Can I just get one answer to this question. I need to know whether to let Vendio bring me up to each photo hosting limit gradually or if I will be better off just jumping in there with the $29.95 fee right now.

I've already been charged $2.95 for this month.

So, when I pass the 3 MB will I be charged $2 additional (for going up to the next level -- since I've already paid for the first 3 MB)

Or will I be charged $4.95 for the next level.

Then, if I pass that one in March will I be billed $5.00 for going up again or $9.95 even though I've already paid for the lower levels.
etc. etc.

See what I mean?

One way I am paying
$2.95
$4.95
$9.95
$19.95
Total billed = $37.80

All for just 135 MB of space but gradually using that much as I post additional listings.

By chosing the $19.95 plan now I will only be charged $2.95 and $19.95.

Or do you just charge the difference in each level for each step?

This is important as I will go up very quickly as I copy listings over.

Here's the user aggrement regarding The image hosting plan. It can be found here http://www.vendio.com/company/fee_policy.html

4. Image Hosting Fee. Vendio will charge you the non-refundable monthly image hosting fee based upon the peak image storage used during the billing cycle.

a) Images included in storage calculation. At any given time, your total image storage equals the sum of the file sizes of all Standard Images uploaded to Standard Image folders, plus the sum of the file sizes of all Standard Images in your Recycle Bin. Any other images, such as ZoomStream Images, logos for Vendio Stores, or images for custom templates, do not count toward your storage calculation. Your peak storage equals the highest total image storage used in a given billing cycle.

b) Initial billing cycle. Upon activation, you will be able to upload, store, and use images immediately, and you will be charged for the new service. For new accounts, you will be charged a non-refundable prepaid pro-rated amount, no lower than $2.95, based upon the Image Hosting plan that includes a storage level that supports your existing image hosting storage on the first day of account use. For existing accounts, you will be charged a non-refundable prepaid pro-rated amount based upon the Image Hosting plan that includes a storage level that supports your existing image hosting storage. Any Limited Free Image Hosting available to you based upon your use of Sales Manager, Tickets Manager and/or Vendio Stores will be reflected at the end of your billing cycle (see following section).

c) Subsequent billing cycles. At the beginning of each subsequent monthly billing cycle, you will be charged a non-refundable, prepaid amount based upon the Image Hosting plan that includes a storage level that supports your existing image hosting storage. Any Limited Free Image Hosting available to you based upon your use of Sales Manager, Tickets Manager and/or Vendio Stores will be reflected at the end of your billing cycle (see following section).

d) Limited Free Image Hosting. Sales Manager, Tickets Manager and Vendio Stores services include a level of free image hosting ("Limited Free Image Hosting" based upon the fees associated with your use of these services (including monthly, listing, and final value fees). For example, if your monthly fee, listing fees, and final value fees are $19.95 in a billing cycle, you would receive 135MB of storage to use with this account at no additional charge. Alternately, in the event you require additional image storage (e.g. 500MB for $34.95), the $19.95 would be credited to the image hosting fees, thereby giving you 500MB of storage for only an incremental $15 ($34.95-19.95). Your statement will regularly reflect these credits that will be applied at the end of each billing cycle. Upon cancellation, credits will not be applied on the final bill. Customers on the Annual Listing Plan will receive a credit for a pro-rated monthly amount of their Annual subscription in addition to any listing fees accrued in the month.

e) Automated plan selection. If at any time during a billing cycle, your account exceeds the current available peak storage applicable to the current plan, Vendio will automatically select the next higher plan level to accommodate the additional storage requirements. This plan will be the new image hosting plan for subsequent months unless you select another plan or additional storage is required, thereby requiring another plan upgrade as outlined in this section 4(e).

So, for the month I wouldn't pay more than $19.95 even If I increased usage slowly?

I'm sorry but it is clear as mud. I'm not sure my vendio fees will be as much as my hosting fees.

So, I need an answer about image hosting only. Will it be just the difference?

The way it looks to me is that you are charged for only the highest usage level. So if you started at the 2.95 level and within one month uploaded enough photos to bump you up to the 19.95 level you would only be charged for the 19.95 fee, not all of the fee level's in between.

To verify this though we will need Vendio's input (hint, hint).

Thanks Mike.

I appreciate all your input

Now, if Vendio will just confirm so I can move ahead with listing (and let us know about the 300 categories). If the categories aren't going to be available for some time through Vendio then there is no rush as I won't list until they are

Nathan at billing confirmed via email that you are only charged the highest rate. So that takes care of that question.

Now, what about the 300 store categories?
