I just went to look at my inventory items and my store categories are showing up instead of my inventory categories.
Any idea why?

Hello,

Do you have an example of this we can use to test with?

I took a look at your inventory page and the folders appear to have different names than what your use as categories on your Vendio storefront.

Christopher

Christopher,
I don't know how to best explain this to you.
On the left side of my screen where there are the options I can select such as post sales, inventory, etc.
If I put my mouse over inventory the menu that pops up should show my inventory categories. They don't. They show my store categories.
As a consequence I can't go directly to a particular category.
If I select all categories and do a search I do get to my inventory items that match that search.
The other thing I can't do is move items to specific categories because my store categories show up.
If I go to edit my inventory categories I do get my inventory categories.
That is why it looks like they are correct to you.
I hope this helped.
Dennis

Hello Dennis,

I pulled up your Vendio storefront, then opened your inventory page and they didn't appear to be the same.

When I go into your online inventory here in Vendio it seems to match the same thing that pops up when you highlight the inventory link along the left side of the Sales Manager page:

Are you seeing something other than what is show here?

Christopher

Christopher,
That isn't what I am seeing.
I see all of my store categories and the number of items I have each category.
Would sending you the sourcs HTML help you at all?

Hello,

Once I get IN your inventory, then the folders on the left side of the page do show a number beside them to indicate the number of items IN that folder.

Perhaps we are just looking at two different locations? Or are you just holding your mouse over the inventory tab on the left side of the page, and when this javascript popup displays your getting a menu like ive shown above, just with different titles?

Christopher

Christopher,
Yes they do show the number.
If I click on one of those categories it shows me the items I have in the store under that category.
I don't see any inventory items.

Hello,

If you know how to do so, take a screenshot so we can see what your seeing.

You don't have to post it here in the MC if your unsure of how, just upload it into your image hosting page and ill look at it from there.

Christopher

Sorry, I almost forgot you can switch between inventory folder view and storefront view.

Just click that link above to switch it back to the regular inventory folder view.

Christopher
