I have read others had this problem. How do you think we feel when we send unpaid item reminders to our customers, only to get slapped with an angry response by a customer who paid on time??
WHat do we tell our customers? "So sorry but the company we chose as our online auction manager had a crash and just decided not to tell us??? You know what they will answer, perhaps you should chose a more reliable way to administer you auctions, and perhaps we should!
How about an email when something like this happens??
This item does appear to have been effected by the same issue you read about elsewhere in the message center. (this thread)

"I am sorry for the frustration. Normally, known issues that have a large impact are announced on our announcements board. Some issues that have a smaller impact (or an unknown impact) and are quickly resolved may not get announced on the main site (mainly to avoid confusion for customers who may be experiencing similar symptoms from an unrelated problem). These types of issues are usually handled via email. I'm not saying this is the case here - it does seem like this is something that should have been announced and it appears that there was a miscommunication somewhere.
Anyway, my apologies for not being more pro-active about announcing this issue. We will look at ways to do a better job of this in the future.
