For some reason Vendio didn't get a "confirmation" from eBay saying that one of my items had launched, so it sat as an ERROR in my Pending, even though eBay had launched it almost immediately, as it had for the earlier and later ones.

I was instructed (Vendio) to delete it from my pending list and to add it to my Active list by Importing it. I did both, but now I have a BIG, FAT "N/A" under my Hits column. Naturally, this had to happen to one of the only ones I really cared about get that info for. *sigh*

Is there any way to get Vendio to start recording those hits? Frankly, I'm surprised this is even an issue.

Do I need to do something else, or am I just outta luck? And if I am outta luck, please add a fix.

Thanks.

I too would appreciate knowing why so many of my eBay items have a N/A regarding hits. It is very frustrating.....and is happening more and more often. Right now I have 6 items listed and one ( the one I am MOST eager about) has this N/A.

In looking over my last 20-25 listings, I find that it has occured more than halve the time.
Please respond with a logical answer...and please repair this long overdue error for all of us!
Thank you.

Hello mihijo,

http://wsacp.vendio.com/my/count/

On the above page you can track the hits on your listing that was tracked into the system.

Unfortunately whatever the reason is an item is tracked or imported into the system (and it isn't tracked or imported automatically) the Sales Manager canno track the hits properly in these cases.

You can however use the above mentioned URL to view the hits for this counter.

-------------

gitajoy,

your item in question 7398279782, is a relist of an unsold item that closed back in Jan (original item number was 7377810635.)

The title has been changed, but that was the original listing. I cannot tell why unfortunately, but the original listings counter didnt work either.

The 'original' isn't the real original either, it was also a relist from an older item, which may have told us something but its long since unavailable to view the details on.

The bad news for this particular item is that you won't be able to use the link mentioned above to see the hits as it won't appear on this page as though there was none attached in the first place.

If you end up relisting this item again, click to edit the item prior to relist and change the selected counter.

From the image hosting page if you select an image and click 'attach' you can then include a counter and submit it to this listing. You could then monitor the hits from the active counter on the listing itself.

Regards,
Christopher

Thanks Christopher. I appreciate the reply, and the link. I wasn't aware of that page. It will be very helpful now, and in the future.

Hope you can get a fix for that problem soon though. Seems like a bug on Vendio's end.

Hello,

On the items that showed N/A from the past, when you go to relist those items are you editing first to reset the counter first by chance?

If so, let me know of an item that you have done since this came up so I can track why the new counters are not working for you either.

Christopher

Hi, Sorry it took so long to get back to you.
OK. One item JUST CLOSED # 7399175026 and one item is still listed# 7399250441,
Yes, they were both re-listeed.
I appreciate whatever your advise will be.
Thanx

Hello,

The original item this was relisted from did have a counter, but it appears to have been deleted from the counter page already.

When you go to relist this or any other item that shows N/A for the previous counter, click to edit the item first, then edit the counter being used prior to relisting.

It is odd as that counter page referenced about usually shows every counter that you have ever used in your account - but yours only shows a small handful of items as though others have been deleted.

Resetting the counters that are bad prior to relist should resolve the issue, but if you run into this again please let us know.

Regards,
Christopher

Where do I re-set counters????
Since mine are hidden on the auction page...need walk thru please.
I never have understood 'copy' or any of the other directives at the end of my listing!
Appreciate some lessons!

Hello,

You can reset your counters from your Image Hosting Standard Image page. You will find an Edit/Reset Counters link.

Once you have created a listing, the "copy" feature allows you to duplicate that listing, should you have a like-item. It's meant to save you some time. "Save" just allows you to save that particular listing. It will show in your pending sales.

Thanks!
