I have had to remove a bidder TWO times in the last 24 hours. They bid and I removed it because they have a -1, and when I emailed them to tell them to NOT bid again, AOL said "not a registered user" for their AOL addy. So, this morning, there they are again, with a different user name, same email addy, same -1 neg. So I remove it again. I emailed the high bidder they keep outbidding, and told her that I will keep removing the other bid, and to hang in there (unless its a different bidder the next time). I also emailed timesensitive and told them that this bidder gave false contact info and they need to be REMOVED from being able to bid. Sheesh. How irritating!

Hi Mauimoods,
Did you also CC safeharbor stating that you don't want the bidder to place any more bids? If not, you should. Good luck!

Hi! Yup, sure did. Didnt hear back from them either. Thats why I sent it to timesensitive. Hope they do something, because if this person is doing this to my auctions, whomelse is getting bids from the same person?

WOW I wish I had your problem I dream of the day I have to beat off bidders hahahaha.

From easter to the end of july I would have gave Almost anything for a bidder on my auctions ever a -100 no problem one bid tends to lead to others.

but three months running over 100 auctions with less then 100 or so veiws weekly is down right scary and deadly for my esteem as a dealer and seller

two more good feature of yahoo the black list and min bidder rateing setting though

Third times a charm? I just removed that SAME bidder again! Cant send "THIS IS NOT A KNOWN MEMBER" from AOL when I tried to contact this person to tell them to STOP, because I cant cut and paste it, nor can I insert it in email to timesensitive. AND, I havent heard from timesensitive since I first emailed them yesterday that this bidder has FALSE info. I dont know what else to do...they keep bidding on TWO names with the same AOL addy, and I keep removing and emailing timesensitive. Only thing left to do is pull the dam auction itself. Then my luck is, the bidder will just go to another one and bid. What the heck is the use of timesensitive if they WONT BE TIMELY SENSITIVE???? Sorry for yelling...just really irritated right now.

Having the *same* problems over here! Wrote to SafeHarbor and TimeSensitive over 24 hours ago and STILL have not received a response from TimeSensitive. Usually they respond within an hour!

Last night I wrote to TimeSensitive to reset my auctions (they were not all showing up on my ebay seller's list) and they responded to THAT email within an hour! But no word from the one I wrote yesterday morning! Maybe they don't think it's TIME SENSITIVE??

UUUUGggghhhhhhh!

Valerie, yahoo is looking better and better and better. Just wish bidders were there more often, ya know? This SUCKS. If that person wins, then refuses to contact me, like the feedback says, then I file a NPB, then they retaliate with a neg.....sheesh. Timesensitive does NOTHING. Why bother with it at all?

Yahoo is looking better? Are you kidding? Yahoo does absolutely no ID veification. Users sign on with non-existent email IDs. There are users with 80 ids in a contest to see who can get the most negative feedback. People with negatives in 3 digits are still bidding. And you cant stop them because they just come back under another ID. The only thing that makes yahoo better is that it is free. At least you dont have to pay listing and closing fees when these bozos ruin your auctions.

Since eBay has been so unresponsive, I'd sure have my finger on the "cancel this bid" button (or whatever it is) when the auction ends if I were you... to snuff the sniper if he turns into one. What a pain!

OK...they are going to check into the bidder....and with 2 user names with no way to contact, they might have to naru them because there is just no way to contact them, since its false email addy. Valerie, maybe you should call them too?

1-888-749-3229 and go to customer support.

The gal on the phone said it sure was weird...the bidder having TWO user names, email addy's for AOL that BOTH were NOT REGISTERED USERS OF AOL...cant send an email to AOL if they arent registered users, ya know? She was very helpful....was scratching her head too, in confusion, lol.

ebay isn't much better than Yahoo. If you have an AOL account, you can be NARU'D one minute and set up under another AOL address the next. WHY WON'T EBAY DO SOMETHING ABOUT THEIR CO-BRANDING PARTNER????

(apologies to the many legitimate AOL'ers out there!)

I used to have NO NEGATIVE RATED BIDDERS on my auctions. Finally had one bid anyway!?!?!

I no longer use it and got another deadbeat recently. He claimed he couldn't complete the auction. Fastest neg I ever gave out. He was doing this to others at the same time. Unfortunately he's still minus three. I can barely wait till he's NARU'd!
