Why did this get posted to the Ebay Outlook?

So that our resident Ebay Cheerleaders and our group of "Ebay-Do or Die'ers" and the "Secret Ebay Empolyees That Post Here" can gloat about how right they are to stick with eBay, like a battered wife sticks with her wife beater husband?

Yawn.

Plenty of people have been bringing up a whole variety of differing online auction venues on the EO lately - I think it's pretty significant that the newspapers have decided to end their foray into cyberauctions, particularly as they have SO much money, and it is THEIR classifieds that will be so impacted in the future by online selling & trading.

A very strange comment from chisholm1943, " . . . and the "Secret Ebay Empolyees That Post Here" . . . "

I wasn't aware that eBay was doing this. Can you please list your sources for this information and any paper trail that you have discovered? Let's expose them ALL!

Borillar: ever since my FIRST WEEK at eBay, people have been muttering either in private emails or publically like above about "secret" eBay posters.

I no longer believe it.

Although back when I was a newbie, the effect such posts were intended to create, i.e., distrust of eBay and its employees worked quite well.

It's an effective meme, except deceptively easy to figure out, and then ofcourse, the effect it created gets turned insideout, lol.
