If I'm interested only in selling on half.com, not buying, do I still need to become a member? The directions aren't clear to me.
How do they pay you for what you sell (check? or?)
And last question--I see mention of mailing what I sell in 24 hours. Is this mandatory? Is it possible to take a vacation, have one of my books sold, and return and immediately send the item?

Yes you have to ship the day after you confirm. You can delay confirmation a bit if you can't ship the next day. If you go on vacation they have a feature that allows you to suspend your inventory. In other words it will not be available for sale until you get back from vacation and activate it again. Hope I made that all clear.

Yes, you do need to become a member to sell on Half.com. If I remember correctly, it's a very quick process to join. They pay you by check for your sales. I forget how often they mail them out, but it's in their FAQ's.
Also, you must confirm your sale & then ship out within 24 hours of confirming. If you are going on vacation, you can list yourself "on vacation" until you return. If you don't confirm a sale within an alloted time, they will cancel the sale.

Thank you, nowwhat! You've been a big help. The eBay Outlook is an enormous help to all of us; I'm stunned by the willingness of people to give quick assistance to each other.
And thanks, too, to lisasez68!
