I do not remember the last time I drank a Pepsi - but tonight I had one to *celebRate* ~ and LOL, anyone who helped convince Americans that Pepsi tasted not just oKay, but g00d, (?!) and was able to figger outta way to market it as tasting better than the Real Thing ~ CocaCola (= mmmmm...gooD!) ~ he is a marketing GeNiuS, and boY-oH-boY, it was SO hot & humid and the machine had run outta Coke, so I thought I'd see just what it was that Swette had been uP to with his cohorts at PePsi, Inc., and let me tell you, we were LAUGHING so hard cuz it tasted SO baD, even though we were famished and dehydrated.

However, I agree with Brian Swette that some people simply prefer RC Cola, no doubt about it, cuz for a fact, during my life I've even seen people guZZle cream~soda .... yucK!!!!!

I suspect that this is going to be a verY interesting aD Campaign, and if it is run like eBay's other *campaiGns*, we are in for a g00d shoW, LOL!

I'm off to an all nigHt store to buy the REAL THING to get this miserable after-taste outta my mouth. However, I do NOT mind living in a Universe where pepsi & coke & rc cola & cream soda co-exist.

"Swette is a veteran of the cola wars, having spent almost two decades pushing Pepsi."

Oops! Sorry, I didn't realize Brain Swette was an eBay official when I locked the thread.

I feel I ought to mention that I love cream soda immensely. To hell with Coca Cola and Pepsi -- give me my A & W!

James.

James: How about ICB, Vernors, Franks, and Javies, and not to be overlooked is red Pennsylvania Dutch cream soda.

Pat: Brian Swette is the COO - at eBay. Last month there was alotta comparing of different auction sites, with eBay, (of course) being CokeClassic - VeryModern alledged that Yahoo! would have to be the Pepsi Generation, as Pepsi is *modern* like VeryModern, so see, when I read that Brian, himself, had helped to actually create the Pepsi Generation - I ended up rotflol, and thought it was pretty funnee when the pop machine was all outta coke, so I tried a Pepsi, which to my tastebuds, tastes even worse than I can remember.

In answer to all the other questions, I despise Koolaid, no matter which flavor, and actually only drink coke or gingerale, but really I typically drink water or fruit juice.

Rootbear's oKay, but not too often, but I can't abide cream soda or cherry soda, not at all, lol.
