Hmmmmm...well now that IS interesting, krs. No, I had never seen that businesss exhange index page. What's interesting is when you click on a category, and then a listing, it takes you back into the main listings site. Very interesting. Also interesting is the "sponsored by" link to www.tradeout.com. I shall have to mull on this awhile, but so much for the concept of "splitting ebay" into B2B and B2P entities. Hmmmm...

Well, it is one of the "Themed" sites. It is "Featured" along with "Chinatown, "Tickets & Experiences" (check out the UltimateBid link)"Comics-O-Rama" and "Chinatown".
One more way of aggragating all like interests at one mini-portal.

Yea, eBay's B2B isn't a seperate listing. Ebay says they include a listing under B2B if the way the listing is entered meets certain citeria (they aren't clear as to what that is).
It's very confusing. We've emailed sellers listed under B2B who had no idea they were listed as B2B.

It's been there quite a while, KRS. And there have been at least two threads about it here - one of which talked about machinist tools in the Business Exchange.

I must have missed them, Glenda. Any opinions as to what ebay is trying to accomplish with Business Exchange? I admit I'm fuzzy on that.

It's pretty much just like the other "theme pages," KatyD - a quick and easy way for people who don't know how to use the search engine to be able to find things. It's listed as a "specialty site" on the front page, but it's not a separate site.
