Just sending out some EOA notices. Got an immediate response from one buyer. Happened to notice the date showing on the copy of my email message that appears below his reply.
Saturday, December 30, 1899.
I've lost track of a day or two and even a week on occasion but please tell me I haven't misplaced an entire Century.

Flash back to one year ago: a lot of people were setting their computer clocks to goofy dates in the belief that this would prevent Y2K problems. Maybe you should let this buyer know it was a bust.

Could be the computer's battery is running low, too. Ours was doing goofy dates until the tom cleaned off the battery.

he or she set the date in the bios to avoid the Y2K problem or as a way to keep emails light-hearted. or of course, to see if people notice. i sure would as i sort my emails by date received. his or hers would end up at the bottom of my inbox.
