I sell clothing items almost exclusively on my auctions. Throughout the summer the bidding seemed to be very competitive and most, if not all of my items got hit. Nowadays, it appears that most of my items don't even see their first bid until 1 or 2 days before closing, and then they go for only the starting bid, or slightly above. I try to start my bidding very low, but I can't manage to continue doing so with this level of bidding.
Is anyone else in similar lines having this same problem? I wonder if there is a new trend of buying going on here, or is this just preseason doldrums.
